2nd time I have gotten an undercooked burger from this place in 2 weeks. First time I ordered it “medium” and it was bright pink inside. Went back last night and made sure to say “medium well” this time and guess what? Still raw like the last time. 3 stars because manager comped my meal but doubt I will ever go back now. With the prices they have, you would assume they would cook it to perfection every time especially a simple burger patty.
We ordered the Captains Feast for 2 people… it was not a feast. I asked the server if the crawfish were fresh, alive and not frozen before cooking, he said it was fresh and sourced local. I had my 91 year old great aunt with me and she needed to eat or I would have sent this pathetic little tray of rubber seafood back. This is crawfish season,,,, the crawfish aould be largw and succulent. They sent out one small cluster of crab legs and I gave them to my aunt. The shrimp were rubber with black spots, clams and muscles were awful and I pray we do not get sick. Worst food ever… anywhere. We are on the gulf and when a bussiness advertises fresh, I expect that. The server was super nice but, should tell customers the food is frozen. I let the server know the crawfish were not fresh nor alive before serving to us, he said that is what he is told to tell customers. The seafood was so old and been cooked for long while. Mkt price should only be charged for fresh seafoods… this restaurant needs a Gordon Ramsey visit. I do not recommend.
Had a salad with Red fish. Could have been a bit larger. Was lucky to get 4 oz. filet. Sticker shocked for oysters. In NJ we get a buck a shuck. Most places $1.50 each at most. But, I hear they are high everywhere in South Florida. Except Eat it Raw in Key West. Use to be .25 lol.

It's sad when you make a reservation and you still have to wait 20 minutes to get a table .

Very busy restaurant with little parking. We got lucky and snagged a high top outside in front…otherwise it was going to be almost an hour. Food was good, I had the fish tacos and there was a good size piece of fish on each one. They were a bit bland however. They served them with chips and queso which was really good. Drinks and food were a bit overpriced but you can expect that at a place by the beach. We will be back for sure but with lower expectations

Food was ok. Chicken wings weren’t jumbo. Oysters were bloated. Service wasn’t great and as always kitchen is extremely slow kind of ruining the evening unless you like to drink alot. Also very expensive.
Parking: It’s always hit or miss

This coastal restaurant is delightful with both a spacious, well stocked bar and ample seating for either inside or outside dining. The menu emphasizes delicious seafood appetizers and entrees but has a selection of meat and vegetarian options for landlubbers.
The inexpensive valet parking is very convenient.
The staff are both helpful and friendly.

lol this place is nothing but a joke now, claimed I was underage but still served me then when asked for another “didn’t feel comfortable serving me” on top of that charged us full price when we pulled half price during happy hour.. Ethan was the bartender & the female manager was an Absolute joke aswell. Will be pursuing this further as it’s all documented as well.

From Tampa drove down and picked my mother up in Osprey then heading down to one of her favorite restaurants to enjoy once again following their reopening a week earlier. All dining is presently outside and this was an absolutely perfect day to have visited. It was very crowded at 5 PM but everything from beginning to end moved smoothly and very enjoyable and tasty. Loving the valet service, Mr. David was a gentleman and most helpful. We put our name in for a table suggested a 30 min wait we were seated in about 15 happy to receive that cell call that are time was up! Outside seating is arranged very comfortably, (plenty of shade covering, also fans when needed) and our meal superb! I personally always enjoy the side item of 2 pumpkin bread slices they have over reg side of fries or slaw which is unique. A special thank you to Ms Sydney who had such a sweet smile lively personality, and was both professional and attentive throughout. Also want to add restroom services are inside and very impressed with the lovely updates, if there’s such a thing to say, one of the nicest restaurant bathrooms I have ever been in lol. To all of you continue doing a fantastic job and good luck to as you continue moving the restaurant forward following the hurricane. (Valet services, to the general Public, a bit of advice please, yes many times restaurants say free valet, but please please consider handing something when picking up your keys as this location in particular is truly doing you a service with worry free parking and getting you right into the door).

This is to tell you that although the Lock And Key is a good restaurant, there are posters on this forum with false claims about attending this temporarily closed reataurant as of this posting.
I drove by there today. It's undergoing repairs and looks close to reopening.

Good food & good atmosphere!!
I’m so sorry about your restaurant with Hurricane Milton. I’m praying for a speedy recovery and healing.
Food was delicious! Parking was a challenge at the restaurant we parked across the street and walked over. The bar was packed they seem to have really good happy hour!
Prices are a little above average but with in line for the area! They did offer a lunch and dinner 3 course special which was a good deal!
