I asked if the soup was fresh and was caught by surprise when the lady happily said it’s all canned soup. For a place called “Obees SOUPS subs and salad” that’s mind blowing and honestly quite lazy. If what she said is true, then the soup is clearly a ripoff and customers should be aware. Subs are good.

Obees is one of the best subs near Charlotte/sarasota counties.. fresh bread delivered daily.. quality meats and condiments. All subs are fresh sliced and veggies are fresh sliced daily.. way better than jersey mikes and less expensive too!!!

My wife and I split the 6” Italian sub. Fantastic, as always. The bread and ingredients are so fresh!! Customer service behind the counter is great. The tables hadn’t been wiped down since the lunch rush - but no big deal. We’ll keep coming back.

We visited for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. I had the ham,turkey, and cheese sub. Amazingly, the soft roll is extremely fresh. I only ate half.My wife had a chicken salad bowl and was only able to eat half .We both have another meal due to portion size. We will return.

This is our new sub shop! The food was stellar, the service was incredible, and the prices were unbelievably reasonable. If you're in the area, definitely seek out this gem. It's tu ked away in an older shopping center, but was being renovated when we went, so that made it a little more challenging to find. Definitely worth a visit!

From Tampa Florida placed an order yesterday for quick delivery to a local area family member under the weather. Large chicken noodle soup, electrolyte water, and a cookie. Was pleased with the selections offered and received positive thumbs up from family member after the fact. I also want to make mention compared to other places in my area We were pleasantly surprised by the lower prices. Thank you for helping and with a quick service getting someone on the road to feeling better
I have been going there for over 2 years. The new owners have raised the prices and cut the quantity of the sandwiches. It's close to one dollar an inch now. Definitely not worth it. We won't be back.

The ENGLEWOOD LOCATION is horrible now! Obees was sold to another local sandwich shop. I've been going to Obees since it came here to Charlotte County in the late 90s. I drove all the way to Englewood for a very disappointing experience.The people weren't pleasant at all. The lady told me I should be happy for the change. I went home ate a bite and was disappointed that the bread and the meat wasn't Obees quality.. It tasted just like that other local sandwich shop that was in Port Charlotte then moved to Englewood. So GOODBYE Obees!
