Lots of great menu choices, good service. Large portions - brought half of it home for a meal the next day!

We have been coming here for years when in town visiting family. We thought last night was empty because of the rain but once we got our meals we could see why. Some of us got fajitas the meat was not fresh and was extremely dry. Didn’t even come out sizzling like normal. Portions have been cut almost in half. My husband got carne asada and it was flat and old. The best part was the sangria. We will definitely find another spot when coming back into town. So disappointed this use to be the go to spot. Not to mention we paid more than what we paid at Olive Garden recently for more people.

Food is SO good. Great flavor and quick service. If you pay in cash they do not offer change. Local favorite for Mexican and the huge portions are well worth the price!

Unfortunately 😕 the food wasn't very good. The meat for the carnitas wasn't fresh, it was extremely dry and had a taste of being a few days old.

My husband had the shrimp fajitas and wasn't impressed.

The meal overall was expensive, as most places now. I don't mind paying if it's good but the food was not worth what was paid

The only two positives were my margarita, it was pretty good, and they had a guy playing some music.

I don't think we will return.

I think they got rid of the bad server who would absolutely never have your drinks filled before or during your dinner. Drove me mad.
But then their food started giving me the runs, after four years eating there, so I only get very select stuff every once in awhile anymore.

We vacation in Englewood every year and Paraiso has been on our list of “must go” restaurants for years. We always make it here at least once during the trip and year over year, Paraiso consistently delivers the best service and excellent authentic food — there’s something on the menu for everyone, including your pickiest eaters. We are a group of 10 and we still get seated quickly any time we come. It’s a treat that we nearly always have Esteban taking care of us— he’s friendly, very funny, and incredibly attentive. I’ve tried many different menu items but my favorites are the Paraiso Chicken (order it as “happy chicken” if you have Esteban as your server, he’ll tell you how this menu item has a different name at every place haha) and the chimichangas— if you like veggies with your meat, the fajita chimichanga is the move!

Overall, Paraiso is a family favorite. From strawberry margaritas to their incredible homemade salsa (made fresh daily — it’s far superior to most other similar restaurants), they’ve got the goods to serve up an incredible experience.
