The breakfast here is always delicious, but the home fries are truly off the charts — one of those added extras that so many other local breakfast spots fall short on. Spinnaker has a grit to it that’s warm and real, the kind of place that feels genuinely local rather than trying to be something it’s not. I eat here whenever I can fit it into my schedule, and it never disappoints. Hands down my go-to breakfast joint. Love this place.

Ordered pancakes, they were thinner than a piece of cardboard! They were soggy and discolored. Worst ever. Overpriced.

Not sure what their idea of a pancake is, but this is not it! Pancake is as thin as a piece of cardboard and actually it was the same color as cardboard, it felt like a sponge. Extremely disappointed. Overpriced.

Worst eggs Benedict ive ever had. Soggy English muffins. Poached hard eggs as hard as a golf ball. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs.

Went twice. Around lunch time. The first time the waiter seemed irritated and annoyed/impatient from the get go. Thought it was just a bad day, so we gave it another try. The second time the service was the same, our waitress (a different person than the first time) just seemed annoyed to be there. Decided not to come back again because of the general attitude.
Doesn’t make for a pleasant dining experience when the person serving you isn’t even happy to be there. Although if you don’t mind an attitude, the food was good each time and the prices were fair as well.

I highly enjoyed the food. The person I went to eat with said the first time we came that their pancakes tasted as if the cooktop hadn’t been cleaned off, there was a slight extra flavor to it. Just wish the wait staff had been a bit more pleasant because I definitely would of returned! The food was delicious in my opinion.
Don’t want to be around negativity when I’m out to what is supposed to be a nice meal though, and I don’t feel like trying to find out a third time if someone is going to act miserable or not. I understand waiting is hard, tiring work. However I haven’t gotten this projection elsewhere before, let alone more than once/in a row.

Spinnaker Café is an absolute gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and the treats and baked goods are truly next-level — perfect with a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax or meet up with friends. The staff is friendly, helpful, and makes you feel right at home. If you’re looking for amazing food, incredible desserts, and great service, Spinnaker Café is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spinnaker Café is a true Englewood gem!
The staff is always friendly and efficient, the service is impressively quick, and the breakfast menu is both delicious and affordable. The coffee is excellent—fresh, hot, and exactly what you want to start your morning. Whether you’re a local, snowbird, or just passing through, Spinnaker Café is absolutely worth the stop!

I have been coming here for years. Anytime I want some good breakfast meal, I come here. I prefer basic breakfast items and they do have kid food items like chocolate chip pancakes too. The staff are always nice, the cooks are consistent and you can watch them if you get a spot at the counter. The prices are good and I would say they’re competitive with other breakfast places. I would go out of my way to come here if I lived close to iHop.
