Happened on this cafe and so pleased we did. The cafe has adjoining rooms - one mostly with booths & a long counter and the other with tables & chairs. So clean and pleasant. The waitress went above and beyond with our menu choices. We were there about 2:30 and this is near their 3:00 closing, but we did not feel rushed. The waitress explained that they had been very busy earlier in the day, so there were a few items that they were out of, but suggested great substitutions....
There was a young boy who set up the table he was very polite & great at what he did. The waitress was very good also. I would recommend this place to everyone. Food was very good & hot! Check out the pastry on the way out!!
Seat yourself cafe. A favorite spot for locals with plenty of seating. Staff are phenomenal. Never ignored. I typically get a simple western omelette, home fries which are basically cooked sliced potatoes browned on the flat top. The grits are consistently cooked correctly and I love that creamy white American cheese in the omelette which is never overcooked. Friendly place that includes a great sample of pastries to eat in or take out.
