This place is a gem in Englewood. Having grown up near the U.P. a cornish pasty was always a delight.
In Minnesota we had pastys, moved to Englewood Florida, we are lucky to have this business here,absolutely love them,and the owner does it right!

We're from Michigan and have had plenty of Upper Peninsula pasties over the years. I can honestly say that the Englewood Pasty Shop is as authentic as anything served in Michigan. Hard to believe, but it's true! It's not really a restaurant, but there are a couple of small tables. It's primarily pick-up. They offer several varieties, but beef is the best. Store has the charm of an actual Upper Peninsula road-side store.

Horrible !! Website says open today until 5’. Drove all the way frompunta gorda and sign on door states closed for annual time off!!!
Maps said that this place is open Monday thru Friday 11-5. It's Monday May 15 So I drove 25 minutes and arrived at 12:44 because the pastys are that good. But to my disappointment they are now actually closed on Mondays. I came during business hours the middle of last month on a Wednesday and closed. I can never catch them open anymore. I suggested a business hours change on Google maps.
