Quiet and service was good. Just a bit disappointed with the pasta we ordered, it was salty that we didn't finish the servings. But at the end, the chef gave us a complimentary dessert to kill the taste of the saltiness 😔 other than that, the place is fine.

Rustic Italian osteria in Wedt Hollywood. Great selection of wines, appetizers and other dishes. We had the gnocchi with tomato and cheese but didn't realize it's as more of a creamy sauce. Branzino was delicious. Loved the restaurant and ambience. Thank you.

Lovely neighborhood restaurant. Great service. Delicious minestrone soup, filet of branzino with roasted potatoes and caponata. The ink risotto with squid and shrimp was disappointing as there appeared to only be squid in the risotto. Delicious Napa Valley Cabernet.

This has been and continues to be a wonderful neighborhood spot. Food is very good, service solid and who doesn't love an Italian Mamma ?!!! i recommend the salmon entree, the chicken milan and any of the wines by the glass.

The owner, Phillipo, is so attentive and kind and you can tell he genuinely enjoys engaging with his customers, making sure they have the best experience. This is such a special place for us and every time we go back we are reminded why we love this place so much.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and they couldn't have been nicer. As small business owners ourselves (we run a little bakery called Bug and Bear's Cannoli), we really appreciate getting to meet and support fellow local owners who care so deeply about their craft and community. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable meal, Osteria Mamma is a must. We can't wait to come back!

We've been coming regularly for about 15 years to Osteria Mamma. For some reason, (first time we came for lunch and not for dinner) the service was average and the person who welcomed us and sat us at our table was obviously not thrilled to be there and not the most personable.... We were used to be welcomed warmly and with attention, we had to make some efforts and be extra gentle and smily ourselves to get a smile from the hostess. We brought some clients/friends from out of town/country yesterday and were very disappointed not to be welcomed as we used to and for our clients/friends to experience this very average welcoming. The food was good though as always. We'll come back and hope to have a better human experience next time.
