We had reservations for six and when we arrived, we were told the restaurant had been closed for several weeks and probably would not be reopened.

What an amazing time we all had from start to finish! Service was great! Drinks were awesome! The place is gorgeous, I mean you seriously MUST see, especially the bar! Wow! I had smoked brisket tacos and they blew my socks off!! One friend had the paprika shrimp the other the pork chop and we all argued all night about who's dish was the best! ??‍♀️ We will 1000% return

Amazing service, it’s such a nicely designed atmosphere and the food was fantastic! The drinks are made strong too if you need a good Margarita!

Had to update this months after my first visit. The restaurant in the later half of the day It seems like the afternoon crew needs to review proper customer service. I spent 20 minutes in the restaurant without anyone so much as looking in my direction. Very dissatisfied with the service, or frankly, lack thereof.

Well, let's just say it's not authentic Mexican food.for 100.00, I would have expected better. Food is not so good. Service is delightful but a bit slow. I think it was a language barrier. Cuban seemed more prevalent.
Steak terribly o ercooked or just a thought cut not sure on Steak fajitas. Horrible Enchiladas. Oh, dessert churo with vanilla ice cream couldn't chew churro. To ové cooked Horrible. Skinny Rita is perfect. Except use coinntrea, not simple syrup or triple sec a bit sweet.
Well, too, 2 bites said wrap it left without package. Could use so.e training o. Service & cooking.
I'm not impressed at all.
Coffee no espressos no cream waited 20 min for milk coffee was cold.i was done then...

The Mexican food at El Nido is terrific! Our table had several different orders of fajitas and they were all (steak, chicken, shrimp) great. The salsa and guacamole with chips were also excellent. We found the waitstaff to be lacking even though there were only a few tables being used in the main dining room. Took 20 minutes to two margaritas and a glass of wine. That was a big negative at the start of dinner. However, definitely would go back as they serve what I would call high end Mexican food.

You've got to check out this place! It's beautifully decorated, super clean, and the food is plated to perfection. You won't believe the special they offer - 2 starters and 2 entrees for just $45! And let me tell you about the jalapeno cornbread - it's absolutely mouthwatering, even my wife, who usually doesn't like spicy food, loved it. The service was top-notch, with our server being incredibly attentive, and the management even checked in with us to make sure we were having a great time.

We came for the excellent bar only happy hour special. Food was great. Jessica behind the bar was great. And the live music was an extra nice touch.

Come try this place for yourself.

We arrived at 9pm. Didn't realize the kitchen closed at 9pm during summer. Didn't matter they insist we order so we did. Music also stops at 9. Music continued to play. We ordered Fajitas, chips and queso and the chop salad. The food was delicious ans the quantity huge. The service was fantastic and the bartender super friendly. We loved the atmosphere and friendly vibe. A new favorite place.

Extremely disappointed as they serve meat in vegetarian ? dish.

Ask them 4 times before that but they said yes its no meat and when we discover it they mention yes meat is there. Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant experience.

El Nido was a quiet summer Season experience and all we could think is how noisy it could be in Season. Service was great from a hospitality major at Gulf Coast University. Food was very good and we thought very large portions. My husband does not care for plantains but loved the maduros served with the meal. We should get back here to eat again before the crowds arrive.

Outstanding meal deal, 2 x appetizer and 2x entree for $45... outstanding fajitas and Flautas and the pork belly starter is to die for.... Ask for Jhoby, she is the happiest and most friendly waitress out there ! Great job.
