I felt like we were held hostage waiting for the check.Told the manager and the waitress. We were ready to go and still waited another ten minutes before getting the check, other than that food and service was good.

They were out of the entree grouper and said they have been out for days. Than day it off your menu. Food was just so so.

In all the years dining at South Fork, tonight was absolutely not a good experience. My son and his wife ordered the filet mignon which was not good at all and very unusual because in the past it always was very good. It came undercooked partly, was difficult to chew and very sub standard. We ordered appetizers which were okay, the coconut shrimp, Shortrib lettuce wraps and calamari which was also substandard and dryed out. South Fork is not the restaurant I am used to eating at anymore with satisfaction. I believe priority is given for early birds. Quality has diminished considerably. We were very much dissatisfied. Not likely to hace dinner there again.

GOOD FOOD; ESPECIALLY THE SEAFOOD ENTREES. I ALSO THOUGHT THE GIN MARTINI WAS WELL PRESENTED.

Food is an upgraded food service product that you would find at an O Charley's. If you are not a foodie like me you will be more than pleased with the quality of food so don't let my rating shy you away.If you are following the lobster roll rating I give this lobster roll a 6/10. It was a maynaise based roll.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for the outdoor area.

I recently visited South Fork Grille with a group of 10 (including myself). We made reservations ahead of time and Tracey was able to accommodate our large group in the back room. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was fantastic. I will consider the restaurant again if I find myself in the area.I will say, the back room echoes, and when you have a big group, voices carry. Diners in the two tables in the back room were upset at the noise level, but honestly it is a large group, what can you expect? Those diners were moved to another section of the restaurant and everyone seemed happy.

We recently had dinner here with friends. We ordered the coconut shrimp and the brie. The coconut shrimp was delicious but the brie was cold and not spreadable. I ordered the Blackened Snapper which was very good but my mashed potatoes were so runny I thought it was sauce. My husband asked if he could still get the burger since it was past 6:00. The waitress checked and said yes. When it came my husband looked at his burger and something was sticking out? He pulled on it and it was a wire of some type, maybe from a grill brush or spring from tongs? The waitress took it and said she would let the chef know, she never offered him a new burger or take it off the bill. She didn’t seem that concerned about it at all! If he wouldn’t have seen it and ate it god knows what would have happened! We also had several drinks, they could have offered us one on the house!

Excellent food. The service not so great! Had to repeatedly ask for things for our table. I.E. silverware,.bread, remove dishes from the table. Literally had to grab service people walking by to get things for us. Had to ask for our bill three times. I get it when things are busy but the tables around that came in after us seemed to get service better.

It was very nice except my husband had a “ tough” fish... which he rarely sends back a meal and the “ wine” room was very nice, however, lighting was too bright. Our waitress “ Brooke” was wonderful over all a good experience. Other meals & servers were great!

Like a lot of reviewers, we waited a long time to get seated and served. Total of 1 1/2 hours for a "quick" lunch. $54 including tip for a steak sandwich with 2 small slices, overdone, on a hot dog roll and short rib wrap, 2 ice teas. We are not big eaters by far and we were hungry when we left. The short rib lettuce wrap was good, somewhat skimpy and messy to eat . Don't get it for a business lunch or with friends. They did a nice job with the outside patio but the inside decor was terrible. As residents, we will not go back.

We have been to Southfork Grille's early dining six times in two months because it is a phenomenal deal and truly excellent food. The only negative I've ever experienced are two older hostesses (two different visits) at the hostess stand whose demeanor left a lot to be desired. They make a line of people wait while answering the phone, don't look at you or even smile until THEY are ready to do so, and I have always felt like they are a bit condescending. I have never experienced this with any of the younger hostesses. But Southfork is so excellent in every other way, that I've always rated them 5 stars. However, on a recent visit when I had reservations for six for outside, there was no table for six outside as they had seated two people at a table next to the only 4-person table outside, so I was a bit concerned. When I spoke to the older hostess (after she made me wait because she was on the phone), she told me to go sit down on the bench along the wall (in an authoritative and unsmiling manner, mind you) and she'd check with the 2-person table to see how long they would be. So I did, noting that the 2-person table had just been delivered their food. The hostess continued seating other people lined up in front of the hostess stand and never did check with the 2-person table (which I thought was wrong in the first place--who does that? Ask people how long they're going to be???). After waiting 10 minutes, I approached a younger hostess and asked why they couldn't move a vacant 2-person table that was catty-corner to the empty 4-person table to seat us? Since they seemed reluctant to do so, I went outside to wait with my party more than a little miffed. After 20 minutes, the younger hostess did arrange for a 2-person table to be moved to a 4-person table so we could be seated, but our experience was diminished by then and all because of a huffy older hostess.

We were greeted with a smile, escorted to our table very quickly. Our server, JoJo was very pleasant and accommodating and delivered our food and beverages in a professional manner. We felt very welcomed by her. The food portions were generous and the drinks well-crafted. We will be back!!
