I love this place! You have to call and check if they are open before you go because it is family owned and run, and sometimes life happens, which we all know. The first thing the owner does upon your arrival is alert you about the wait, they take to go orders all the time and it is first come first serve. We don’t mind the weight because the food is that good. Our longest wait there was 45 minutes and we were warned and ok with waiting. Our food is always steamy hot and the serving size is enough for seconds! My favorite dish is Thai fried rice with chicken. I’ve had drunken noodles, Tom Yum soup, Tom Kha soup, volcano chicken, teriyaki chicken, pho, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, pad Thai, yellow curry, mango sticky rice, and so many delicious dishes. I recommend this place and I take my family there when they come and visit.Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes are vegetarian, with the option to add protein, tofu, or extra vegetables

I will start by saying we drove two hours to try this place out, and then waited patiently for an hour for our food. When it came we realized it was insanely overpriced. I payed $96 + $10 tip for 3 dishes and $30 of that was for a “large” Curry and when I received it, it was the size of a childrens cereal bowl and had literally no more than a few spoon fulls of “curry.” I would love to see what their small looks like.It was essentially a small duck that was basted in curry. Not to mention it was overcooked and was basically a quarter cartilage and fat. Letting that slide, and chalking the size up to a struggling business, when I brought the fact up to the owner that I had no curry in my curry, he has the audacity to say that he would have to charge me for more curry. ?How are you going to tell a customer who just paid $30 for a tiny bowl of curry that you would need more money FOR THE ACTUAL CURRY. Are you insane?Don’t even get me started on the atrocity that is the “sticky rice and mango.” It was watery and runny and made of a solid block of obviously packaged frozen sticky rice and unripened mango. Topped with watery flavorless “coconut milk.”Sticky rice and mango is normally covered in a creamy coconut milk sauce, this one was essentially splashed with coconut water. The Owner was extremely unprofessional and the food is incredibly overpriced as it is the most expensive Thai food I have had in Florida, and yet nowhere near even top 10 in Thai places in Central Florida when it comes to taste and last for service.Save yourself some money and go elsewhere.Note: You can see by the owners response to my review on google that he is immature and takes zero accountability. He resorts to name calling and insults which proves his inability to handle criticism or take accountability for his actions.Keep running your business like this and you will surely fail, as you deserve.

Came from two hours away and decided to try this spot out because the reviews on here seemed good enough. Got there and they were only doing take out at the time. No big deal. I ask about the sizes of the dishes and specifically asked how big they were (doing hand gestures to gauge on size) and owner in the front said that I wouldn’t have to worry, that they were a good size (for both the main meal I got and desert). Not sure if the sizing is different from sitting down but the portion size for the price was an absolute ripoff. I don’t understand how you are going to charge 30 dollars for one piece of duck that I could fit in my hand and then throw “curry” on it. It was basically a duck with sauce. Questioning if it was even duck now. It was normal takeout boxes. Black bottoms and plastic clear lid with the small and medium sized foam boxes that close/open clam style. On top of that, I get the food I ordered and had to go back in because no napkins or plasticware were provided to eat the food with. I was never even asked if I needed any. It should be a given that with takeout you put it in the bag. There is much more to this but you can look at the previous review. Food is okay. Portion size for price, absolute dog water. Service, below par. Time it took for “making” the food vs the size of the food, below par. Would not recommend unless you feel like setting money on fire and being charged for everything little thing like the air in the room.

Real Thai food! If you love Thai food, this is the place to go. There may be a wait, but the food is definitely worth the wait. Prices are good, especially for homemade Thai food. The owners are awesome!

Easily some of the best Thai food I've had anywhere, we've been eating here at least once or twice a month for nearly 4 years now. Never disappoints! Her Curry is just perfection!

Best Thai food I've ever had. Small, family owned place. Very friendly and courteous service. Quiet and comfortable environment. If they bottled their peanut sauce, I'd buy a gallon. Highly recommend!!

VACATION RENTALS

Wow! First of all, we are Asheville foodies always searching for a great restaurant when traveling. 95 percent of the time we are disappointed. We are so happy to have discovered the best Thai food we have ever experienced. Aloy Dee is an absolute gastronomical adventure, an abundance of flavor! Our server was very attentive and polite. One in our party likes mild and one hotter. The spice was just right. The Panang Curry and Pad Kee Mad are highly recommended.

If you cannot handle negative criticism, you should not be in the restaurant industry. This is awful, especially speaking to people who give you money, the whole reason you’re even in business. Take negative criticism as advice. I will not be eating here after seeing how the OWNER treats their paying customers. So unprofessional! Please look at other restaurant responses to customers reviews as examples of how to appropriately respond. e.g: Thank customers for stopping by, apologize for the inconvenience. Speaking to customers disrespectfully, calling customers “Karen” is steering new possible customers away. Learn to respect others and apologize for being in the wrong, and you won’t be dangering your business into failure. I will be taking my money elsewhere.
