This is my first visit to this diner. It blew my hat off because I did not realize that such a small establishment exceeded all of my expectations of dinning out! The courteous waitress, Emily, was very kind and treated us like family. The breakfast was delicious and we received generous portions. This is one of the only times I could not finish eating my breakfast.(remainder is in the picture) The two pancakes were HUGE and sausage was delicious along with a decent price. I highly recommend this business for great food and portions, patriotic environment, and a must place to dine if you are in the Umatilla/Eustis FL area! Thank you!!

I ate here during the holidays with high hopes. The decor was so cute, and the reviews were good. But holy cow. My omelette had raw eggs in it, the manager was incredibly incredibly rude, and there were roaches. One was on my table, several were underneath— So gross. I felt creepy crawly after I left. It honestly feels Ike a health inspector should pay them a visit.
Positive things: hmm. The decor was cute, and my server was fantastic. Her name was Teri, I think— and her service was 10 stars. She was the only good thing about my experience.

My boyfriend and I drove up from Kissimmee to meet a friend here. It was well worth the drive. He ordered the chicken pot pie and said that it was comfort food in a bowl. I had the tuna fish sandwich on rye bread with the fruit bowl. It was amazing. Our server was fantastic with the menu recommendations, and we would certainly drive up here again.

A couple of days before Christmas I decided to try Countryside diner. The waitress was very friendly, and bought my order to me with a smile. Then she saw me struggling to try to cut the steak. She asked me if she wanted me to send it back, and explain that she told him I wanted a rare steak. I said no, thinking that the cook was having an off day. But then I cut into my eggs, that were cooked over easy. However the whites were as runny as the yolks. How do you undercook eggs, and turn a rare steak into shoe leather, unless you did it on purpose? I'm guessing something didn't sit well with the cook about me, because they're right out there in the lobby and can see you. And then when I went to pay for my meal, the manager lady almost extorted a tip. She barked twice I just need your final total! So I wrote down the exact total she had written with no tip. And then I said hers is on the table! I'm guessing they must be from out of state. Because of the nice waitress I still up to five dollar tip on a $20 bill. 25% lady, I didn't go cheap.

We stopped at this adorable diner just passing through based on its reviews. We were not disappointed! For such a small place (old Waffle House) they moved people quickly. Service was great with smiling faces. My favorite part was the decor and the different salt/pepper shakers on all the tables. Would definitely visit again if ever in the area.
