Welcome to Haystax, where you can sit wherever you feel comfortable. The restaurant is decorated with southern charm & each table has a unique Salt & Pepper shaker from what seems like a very big collection, including seasonal & holiday creations. The waitresses & waiters are quick to serve up a smile & tell about their daily specials. The menu has a large variety of foods. I have certain food intolerances, and I’ve never felt discouraged from asking about ingredients used in certain menu items. The kitchen staff does a tremendous job at serving delicious meals. What I like most about Haystax is the friendly staff; this is what truly makes Haystax a family style restaurant. They support local Fire, Police, and EMS, as well as respecting the contributions & sacrifices military veterans. Delicious food, but terrible service from the waitress. She never returned to check on the four of us or to refill our drinks. I had no drink at all while eating. During the entire meal, our waitress was talking to other employees. The tip that was given to her was way too much!

Great service right from the beginning.. my server Gracie Was superb she was the one that greeted me! After having not so good day… it’s great to come to a mom and pop place and get smiles and not kids on there phones!!

This is my second visit to Haystax. My first visit my breakfast and service was good. An acquaintance had an egg salad sandwich which was only to be described as a Cadillac of egg salad sandwiches! She stated it was really good. My second visit was not as good. My orders consisted of a bacon mushroom Swiss burger, a farmer's omlette and a patty melt to go. I do realize that thus place is ridiculously busy. The need for more staff is an understatement. So, the service was really bad, but great when we could flag them down. Both burgers were extremely bland, but... the burger texture and burger/bun amount per ratio was perfect! The locals were very friendly and visit often as regulars. I'd really hate to leave them a bad review just due to a couple experiences. I will return to try more items on their menu which has a little bit for everyone!
