Went there last night 7/11/25 asked server how many shrimp come in shrimp basket she said 8 - ordered shrimp basket. Shrimp came out over cooked. Also 7 shrimp. Told server about it and she was very graceful and was as helpful as she could be. A few minutes later I was met by the kitchen manager who informed me that they changed the quantity recently.
I asked when was this change and he said last week. I responded - saying how do the customers know what is being changed as it is not reflected in the menu nor do the servers know about this changed.
He had no explanation, and just apologized.
This is just a continuation of things changing in this restaurant.
Menu choices have been reduced, serving sizes have been reduced. Costs have gone up and quality of food has gone down.
Owner is absent, managers dont compensate you when they make errors or get things wrong
In my opinion these are the items that are still really good food choices at this restaurant
chicken wings
Salads all kinds
Burgers
All hand held sandwiches
Fries are typically very good
Do not recommend this place when considering many of the other items that are offered.
I am hoping they take this review into consideration and improve on the issues mentioned above.
My family goes to this restaurant nearly every week and have seen many negative changes

The food was horrible. The chicken was tasteless and rubbery as if it were microwaved. Salad was wilted. Both the floor and table were sticky. The waitress was attentive. Food came out quickly. Pretty view of the lake.

We ordered the boneless wings with the garbage sauce and they were delicious! The best wings I’ve ever had! Mel was attentive and a great server! The atmosphere is great, very open and awesome views of Lake Eustis. We will definitely be back!

There wings are good, and burgers are good. That’s about it. Kitchen is screwed up. Takes way too long to be served. Not the servers fault. Menu has been chopped in half and prices have gone up. Not good. Owner need to rethink this operation. Ppl don’t mind paying a little more when service and food quality/choices are good.

Was served generous portions for a good price! Something you don't get to see every day with it being right on the water like it is.

I would not go there again. Sat down ordered food no chicken no bacon for salads. Soup was like from a can. Campbells soup taste better. Waited forever for food. On the way out dead cockroach on the floor. Got burger asked for well done it was red inside.

I called on December 12 and made a reservation for Christmas Day at 11am. I see a post Christmas morning they aren't open until 4pm. It would have been nice if they would have called me so I could have made other plans. We ended up at Denny's.
Terrible! We have eaten here for years, and we went for pickup tonight and were so disappointed. When we go the kids like to split a large pepperoni pizza - the 16”. We ordered it it as the “large 16” pizza”. They gave us a small child’s size pizza yet charged us the bigger pizza price. My husband immediately noticed and brought it to their attention but they said “we don’t have a 16” pizza.” Then why is it on your menu and why did you let us order it? The flippancy of the staff was laughable too. Will never again eat there. Highly recommend you go the other better restaurants in Eustis and Mt Dora.

First time at this place. Tons of potential if they knew how to use it. Ordered the Fried Gator appetizer. $16 bucks for a very small portion served on paper with one sauce. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallops with a salad and green beans for sides. The shrimp and scallop were very small and not fresh. They were frozen food service. The green beans were from a can! I had a house salad with chicken. My order was fresh and very good. With some changes, this could be a great place. Unfortunately I don’t recommend it and would not go back.
