I understand they already went out of business since they moved- We tried it since they moved and it wasn't as good- we really liked their old place friendly service and PUB atmosphere of the old place. OH and the food was great! Not so uch at the new place. We were disapointed.
My wife and I bought a $50 gift card atTillies because it was near The Bay Street Players. We bought tickets for "To Kill A Mockingbird", and gave both to my In-laws for Christmas. When my in-laws went to Tillies for dinner before the show, the waitron informed them that the gift card was empty, so they left the card and paid cash for their meal. When we found this out, i checked our bank statement and a $50 charge to my credit card had been made for the gift card. When my wife called Mgmnt about it, they said they would check in to it. We havent heard from them since. What's up Tillies? Eustis Fl. is a small town. Your gonna run out of people to treat badly very fast. Your missing opportunities to make a friend by doing what's right. You won't last long like this.
We went to Tillies for wings and fried green tomatoes. I was craving the tomatoes and low and behold they did not have any! I ordered the fried pickles instead mistake! The pickles tasted like fried batter wheres the pickle???????????? The wings were supposed to be garlic parm they were floating in butter did not taste the garlic at all. All in all I would not hurry back to Tillies.
A version of Tillies (or Tilly's, if you will) has been around in Eustis for a while. Not so much a destination as a local staple. Clean, neat, downtown-convenient, good food reasonably priced! They relocated a while back, expanded their menu and boy-oh-boy, am I impressed. Met there for a lunch meeting. Ordered something they call "Beach Ball." They promote it as a "Tillie's Favorite - like no other sandwich - you might need two to eat it!" This is an understatement - - -two people can easily munch-a-lunch on this beauty and take the rest home for the basis of a great dinner salad!!!!!! Delicious roast beef, ham and turkey stacked the way it should be! TRY IT - YOU'LL LIKE IT!
I was there last night for corned beef and cabbage and when my food arrived I was horrified at the mount or lack of corned beef I got. 15:99 I expected a whole lot more . My waiter was very apologetic and it wasn't his fault. The manager however is another story. I ended up taking it back and gotten something else which wasn't it all satisfying. Needless to say I will never come back. Very disappointing.
I went to tillyss for St. Patrick’s day hoping for a good corned beef and cabbage meal. I got two slices of corned beef two small carrots and a spoonful of cabbage for 15.00 . Upon asking the manager why the portions were so small she gave me a song and dance and did nothing. The waiter Gavin was remarkable. They also don’t have a liquor license for the next four months. Needless to say it was the worst St Patrick’s day I ever had and will not go back.
worst service and worst food in town! over an hour wait for food and only 5 tables filled, cold fries for the entire table of 10, chicken over salted and dry, wraps inedible and no one cared. never again absolutely disgusting. owner has 3 places in town and each one is worse than the other. I'll take my business elsewhere and hope everyone else does. do not recommend at all!!!
Absolutely NOT! The worst Cobb salad in town and that includes low end places. This is a restaurant suppliers bagged chicken. Cold, dry, disgusting!! Staff was annoyed to work! Anywhere is better. I came when they opened on a Saturday. Not busy.
Our service was amazing! Sydney our server was delightful, prompt and great! But the menu for salads says on a bed of romaine and ours was shredded iceberg which would have been great if we were eating tacos. It was very disappointing. Shame on you guys for not saying you were out of romaine. Even chopped up iceberg would have been better than shredded.
French Dip was very good but there is a weird smell (cleaning products?) in the dining area. They were short staffed as so many places are these days but our waitress did her best to overcome. Might try it again if we get back this way.

This is a new favorite spot. Everytime my boyfriend and I go here I get the fish and chips and they are always great. I usually get their mac and cheese and onion rings as a side. The mac can be kind of inconsistent with the thickness but it always has good flavor. We've tried quite a few of the appetizers and they are all really good. Standouts are the pork nachos(HUGE portion), smothered tenders and the fried green tomatoes. The only problem I have is that they always seem to be pretty understaffed and it can make for a long wait time on drink refills and if they forget to bring something or if you need something it takes a while to get it, especially if you are someone like me that does not like to call out to someone. We usually go for an early lunch and get in before crowds so it hasn't been too much of an issue for us but I always feel bad for the friendly staff that are all trying their hardest. We will definitely continue to visit!
Had a burger and cooked medium and requested and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Great atmosphere and even a musician. Our waiter was great although as with many other restaurants, they were short staffed. Would definitely return.
We actually came here for the first time to listen to our favorite local artist - Richard Lawrence - and we've come to enjoy the food, atmosphere and the great staff. The place is a good sized restaurant with a good bar area and it's wide open. The only problem - if there is one - is that only reservations for eight or more are accepted and if you want to listen to the entertainment, it's not ideal in the dining room. Otherwise the food is good and the service is top-notch. If they took reservations for four and had tables closer to the music, I would have given them a '5' for an overall rating.
Food was good this visit. Third visit recently and everytime service has been HORRIBLE. Drinks never refilled, including alcoholic beverages. Previous visits burgers ordered med rare and delivered WELL done. Highly do not recommend this place, I would 100% recommend any restaurants downtown other than Tillie's. This all started since they moved locations, never had a problem before.
What a disappointment! Not sure how they have 4.2 stars. Our appetizer came out after our salads. It took nearly 45 minutes to get our appetizer. Food took over 90 minutes to get to the table. Our meals were stone cold, except for the coleslaw that was served with the fish and chips, it was hotter than the fish or any of our fries. Waitstaff needs more training in customer service. The kitchen staff needs to talk more so that they can coordinate foods done at the same time. Fried menu items just get soggy and gross sitting under the heat lamps. We ordered the breakfast burger well done with a well done egg and no lettuce, tomato or onion. It came with lettuce, tomato and onion and a runny egg. The waitress had even written on her ticket “no garden.” Also, be advised, there is a 3.95% credit card fee added to your bill in anticipation of you using your card which they do not warn you about! Good business practice is to not discriminate against those of us who use our credit cards.
