This place is a gem. The food is INCREDIBLE... they need to update online menu though. . SOOOO good. Found it looking on the map and rode down with friends that live in Labelle... but I WILL be driving 3 hours from avon park to eat here again. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap, a cheeseburger, fried gator, and pizza and hush puppies which i didn't get a photo of because we devoured them too quickly. Was 60 bucks for two people.

Quickly passing through Everglades City, we were looking for a place to grab a takeaway and continue our journey. We came across the Island Café by chance and luck worked out! Pleasant welcome with wise advice regarding the choice of dishes according to our tastes. The quality/price ratio is very good for the United States, the dishes served were simple, very good and well cooked. Special mention for the fries, the cooking of which was exceptional! If you are in Everglades City, I recommend this address!

Nice little authentic American eatery. We had breakfast. Delicious.
Great classic spot for a hearty American breakfast! Western omelette with grits and homemade biscuit! Ready for the day. Love the Floridian theme! Everything is clean and great service! Cute seating for families or a perfect table for our group of 10!

Overall the food was ok by choosing the basic cheeseburger and fish tacos, value for money was ok. The pasta chicken masala dish was not good and the Gator diner meal overpriced for what it was. The problem for us was the final bill clearly a mistake in the total amount for the food we purchased then there were some messing up with the taxes. The state taxes were probably counted twice, then the 18% tip was counted in the bill then the cashier girl almost made us select it again. Then we had the 3.5% tax because we paid by visa. Overall this was a rip off, be very careful if you go there which i do not recommand. Otherwise thé waitress was nice and efficient
