We are from Lakeland FL and we are visiting family, our experience was absolutely wonderful! Lilly was our server - she was SO sweet, quick and very polite, keep up the great work!We had a little bit of everything, onion rings, corn nuggets, Cuban sandwich, BLT and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious!We are hoping to come back soon when the new location is open!! The cooks and servers did great :)

We were on our way to Tallahassee for business. The place looked cute so we swung in. The inside was cute to.....however. I will start off with, we use to work in the service industry so we're not just complaining about nothing..#1 we were never greeted when we walked in so we assumed it was seat yourself. After our drink order was taken we sat for almost 10 min waiting to have our order taken. It was 1:30 they weren't busy. We finally had another kind lady come take our order with apologies.#2 my husband said that's one of the nastiest restaurant bathrooms he's ever been in. We love mom and pop restaurants so we know they aren't super fancy. But he was disgusted#3 we know inflation has risen prices however the prices for what you get are just outrageous!!!!! $9 for a Chilli cheese dog that comes with NO side and cold cheese. 20$ for a catfish basket and onion rings the whole basket was burnt.#4 I asked for sour cream to go with my Chilli dog and she once again.....forgot about us. By the time she came back I ate my meal without it.Finally when it came time for the bill after she had apologized again for forgetting us she then let us sit there forever without coming back to pick up our check!!!!!! I went to the register and was told oh I'm so sorry I was on my way there. Now I know if a customer was dissatisfied with anything I would have been prompt to get back to that table and not forget AGAIN. We left 10% were normally 25-30% tippers

Although we were met with friendly service and down home decor we found that the menu was lacking and expensive as they charge you for most items individually. which ran up the bill for some basic meals. Food was good but when we got the bill it was abit rich for us.

First time impression...Won't be going back, very disappointed. A bit pricey for what you get in my opinion. Ordered the fish basket, was told it was "3 good size pieces of Cod". When the food came out, it looked like 3 fish sticks on a bed of fries for $15. Mentioned to the waitress and all she did was suggest a homemade dessert. Will not recommend this restaurant.

Don’t sleep on this place. Inside it looks like a mini Cracker Barrel with authentic “seasoned” signs, old telephone, and hand made wind chimes for sale. The food was delicious (my Cuban was, anyway) and for dessert….cinnamon arrows. My gosh so delicious. Anyway…..GO!

Friendly service, unique atmosphere, and good food. I ordered takeout was quick and portions were larger than anticipated. Greek salad had potato salad on top, a bit different, but still delicious. Recommend a stop in to eat.

Hamburger was not 1/4 pound, more like a premade patty from high school cafeteria. Service was so-so. McDonalds would have been a better choice.

This place is like a blast from the past. When you walk in, you are immersed in a late 40s or early 50s atmosphere. The food is amazing, but be warned if you are looking for a fast food place. This is not for you. Burger King is across the street. This place is for you to unwind with a Ruben and a chilled bottle of soda.

There is nothing that I didn’t like about 19/98. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I had the special-Rueben sandwich with fries and my hubby had a steak and cheese sub, both were excellent and a huge portion. We will definitely go back. Prices are very reasonable too.
I would give this 10 stars if I could. Carole was our server and the only one taking care of all the tables. She didnt miss a beat, we had awesome conversation and she made some delicious recommendations. We started with the fried ravioli, then ordered our own mini buffet. Seafood platter (and switched the French fries to zucchini fries), chicken parm sandwich and kickin' bourbon wings. We already started digging in before I snapped a picture so the original presentation was much better than pictured. Everything was homemade and made to order, cooked to perfection. Even the clam strips were soft and had a good size piece of meat inside. Honestly, I could have sat down with a spoon and ate a bowl full of homemade tartar and marinara sauce, it is that good. I'm allergic to dairy and stay away from fried food usually, but SO WORTH THE CHEAT. Seriously, if you're in the area and you don't stop in, you are a crazy person.

Use to be good. Now they have been closed on days they say they're open a couple of times that we've gone. When they are open they don't have many of their menu items available because they say they're out of food. A restaurant out of food?? Now they have raised their prices. Almost $13 for a Cuban Sandwich?!?! It's good but it's not that good. The old price was already too much. Sad to see another good place go downhill

Pulled pork was fabulous!!!! Salads were fantastic, very crisp and dressings were delicious Service stellar and atmosphere was fun and everything was super clean. We drive through the area once a month and look forward to making this a must stop.

First time in. Can't say anything negative about this place. Food was made to order, delicious, priced right, and big portions. Staff is friendly, prompt, and attentive. It's clean and inviting. Lots of cool decor to look at while waiting for your food. We will definitely be back!!
