It's a drive thru, so no real atmosphere to talk about. I had a fish sandwich, which was really pretty good. I ordered onion rings with it...those were not so good. Way too much batter and all of them stuck together. Probably best you don't order those. I'll be back though. I'll try other food there, like maybe a burger and fries.

Cool little drive thru with 4 or so tables. Had Brisket sandwich. Came with a crispy onion ring and was great. Fries darker and crunchy how I like em. Staff was super and very friendly. Highly recommend. Very diverse menu for a little roadside Drive Inn.

What a great little restaurant! We have passed by many times saying one day we will stop in. You need to stop as well...you will not be disappointed! Huge variety on the menu from Alfredo to gator!We had the patty melt and brisket sandwich. Both are super yummy!! We also had the deep fried pickles, fried green tomato's and fried mushrooms. All are made fresh from scratch you can definitely tell by the flavor! Cashier was super friendly and knowledgeable. Super fast service!! All our food was hot, fresh and delicious!! One of my all time favorites for sure!Everyone passing through Chiefland FL must stop by Chompers Diner for some of the best southern food you will ever encounter!
