We had the all you can eat shrimp. The fried shrimp was not all that good. The grilled and blackened shrimp was good. The salad bar is great.

Very cool funky old Florida feel inside. A little bit of being in a ship theme. Outside doesn't look like anything special outside. So many great dinners and restaurants are like that especially in these type areas. But believe me always good and homemade. This restaurant has Alot of great southern seafood( mostly fried to perfection ) I had the Deviled crab stuffed shrimp ,with cheese grits and since I didn't order the salad I got a loaded baked potato to take home. My husband ordered the fried shrimp which there was plenty ( maybe not the bigger sizes you normally think) a decent portion with the best fried Okra and he did get the salad bar.Which had regular salad bar stuff.Potato salad ,macaroni salad pea salad all sorts of southern things. Of course pudding. As far as I could see every table was loaded down with tons of choices .Which this must be a huge draw to this restaurant. Of course also because of the amazing family friendly staff.Our waitress Niyonna was very sweet. You'd feel like a regular by 2nd stop. They would Rember you. So very many reasons on menu and on other notes worth going to. Make this your stop in a stretch of road that doesn't have much. It's worth it !Yes there is wine on Sunday and it was nice and cold.

Nikki was our server and provided top notch service. Everything from the onion rings to the steak and crab legs was DELICIOUS and perfectly cooked. The decor is amazing. Love this place! 5 stars! Will definitely be back again

If you're expecting the great flavor that the previous owners had, it ain't there. who ever took over the Lighthouse Restaurant, should have bought the recipes too. I got a shrimp and oyster combo. I wasn't impressed with the weird seasonings on them. I'm a simple person and want my shrimp fried simple too, no extra seasonings. I got the meal to go and the box was a little skimpy. One good thing isthe waitress at the counter was very nice and polite and she had a lovely smile.

Salad bar is the best in the county, also had the oyster stew wasvery good lots of oysters and I also had all you can eat shrimp . Our waitress name was Deb and she took very good care of us while we ate. I will eat there again next time in Dixie county.
