Akari Sushi is a highly recommended restaurant known for its super fresh fish and wonderful flavors. The sushi is great and well-priced, with favorites like the Dynamite Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Cheese Roll, and Geisha Roll. They also offer delicious Pokè bowls. The service is excellent, with quick and attentive staff in a very clean and tastefully decorated space. While sake can be expensive, the atmosphere is quaint and welcoming, especially when sitting on the porch in good weather. Despite being busy, the restaurant accommodates customers on a first-come, first-served basis. Many consider it the best sushi spot in Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island.
