“We had a great meal here the other night. We chose to sit outside under the covered patio which was great because the indoor dining area was little noisy. They brought out complimentary bread and an amuse-bouche to start. We ordered the Bone Marrow and Escargot as our appetizer, which was very tasty. I actually prefer this version over the Escargot option at David's. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and selected some wines to complement our meals. For the entree I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon and my partner ordered the Georges Bank Sea Scallops. He said they were some of the best scallops he's ever had. We finished off the night by ordering the Chocolate Bomb for dessert which was also delicious. It was light and rich, and it came drizzled with a raspberry sauce that really enhanced the flavors overall (I'm a sucker for raspberry). We will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.”
“Visited for the first time this weekend blown away by the hospitality owner and staff went above and beyond ! If you're looking for a great experience this is the place ! Will be back -Sydney”
“A thoroughly charming and popular spot. Great menu and excellent attention by staff. The food is ordinarily great. On this evening, the main courses (fish, chicken) were excellent, but the sides (carbs, veggies) were barely warm. Management was very considerate when billing. Definitely going back whenever we're in the area.”

“Great job by this place yesterday. For the second day in a row, hard to believe, they lost power at about 7 p.m. On Sunday we went elsewhere but on Monday we returned and were offered a table outside. Though very hot, we accepted and are glad we did. These guys moved most/all cooking to an outside grill and our dinner was excellent - vegetable paella and two tapas dishes. They did a fantastic job in a difficult situation. We were very happy when the power retuned 7:45 p.m.-ish. They then hustled the outdoor cooking back inside and I hope had a smooth rest-of-the-night. Outstanding!”

“Love everything about Wicked Bao! The vibe is so fun, the owner is amazing, and the bao flavors are next level (the sake flavors are always such a fun twist). And the rice tots… SO delish. Best seat in the house is definitely the bar—great energy and experience all around. Highly recommend—go enjoy and support local! 💛”

“Had an amazing lunch with our friend visiting from Oklahoma. Our server, Heidi took great care of us. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Al Motola”
“The white hair guy is horrible! I think his name is Wesley? He yells at the servers! We won’t be back until he is gone! Get rid of him! He’s mean to your staff.”

“We have eaten here on Sunday for brunch several times. Fabulous service and the food never fails to be delicious no matter what we order. My favorite, French toast, melts in your mouth. My husbands favorite, steak and eggs, is wonderful. Such a nice atmosphere, and wonderful staff! Thanks to all!”
“We didn’t have the chance to dine at Akari Sushi this time, but I absolutely had to share our experience. My mother tripped and fell right outside the restaurant, and one of their staff members, Wendy — a truly compassionate woman — immediately rushed to our aid. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and reassuring during a very stressful moment. She even brought out napkins and first aid supplies to help us.
Even though we didn’t end up eating there, the kindness and humanity Wendy showed spoke volumes about the restaurant and its staff. I simply wanted to thank Wendy and let others know what a caring team they have at Akari Sushi. THANK YOU!”
“We had such an amazing experience tonight for our daughter’s 17th birthday. They gladly accommodated 11 people in our party! The ambience was absolutely perfect — warm, inviting, and beautifully set. It made the entire evening feel special from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. And our waitress… truly beyond outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. Honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back!”
“I have ate Chinese food all over the country, this place hands down is the BEST CHINESE food I've ever had in my life!!!! Absolutely amazing flavor, freshness and affordable. The host was extremely polite and very outgoing, definitely on our must eat lost when we visit the island, never would have thought I would have found a hidden gem like this 1k away from home. You don't know real Chinese food til you have ate here omg”
“My husband told me about this place and specifically the Falcon burger. He was right that it was the best burger I'd ever eat and he was absolutely right.
We came here two nights in a row and had Kayla taking care of us both times. She remembered us and our kids and was absolutely amazing.”
“If you haven’t made your way to Kitchen 251 on Amelia Island yet, stop what you’re doing and fix that immediately. William and I had the pleasure of dining at Chef Michael’s newly relocated restaurant in Fernandina Beach, and from the moment we walked in, we knew this wasn’t going to be just another night out—it was an experience. The entire staff is simply outstanding. Not just attentive, but genuinely welcoming in a way that sets the tone from the start and carries through the entire evening. You can feel the pride in the room. Now let’s talk about the food… because this is where Chef Michael truly works his magic. Chef Michael has placed his Midas touch across a thoughtfully crafted menu of well-developed, absolutely delicious dishes that can satisfy even the most selective palate. The seafood? Exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with a level of care that reminds you why this area was once considered the seafood capital of the Southeast. And for those who prefer more traditional fare, the options are just as impressive—something that has been surprisingly hard to find done this well in our area until now. Every dish we experienced was over-the-top delicious, with generous portions that don’t sacrifice quality for quantity (a rare balance these days). You leave satisfied—but already thinking about what you’ll order next time. Kitchen 251 isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a much-needed revival of what dining on Amelia Island should feel like. We’ll absolutely be back… probably sooner than we should admit.”

“Just wanted to take a moment to thank the staff. I feel like Customer Service is at an all-time low right now and you guys are doing a great job. It doesn’t go unnoticed. I was on my way from visiting a family member at the hospital. It was late, I was tired and hungry. When I was picking up my sandwiches, I was greeted with a smile, a friendly attitude, and when I asked questions about a product, I was offered a sample, so would know if I liked it or not. Thank you. You’re doing something right and I appreciate you.”

“I rarely leave reviews about restaurant experiences unless it was EXTREMELY horrible or EXTREMELY EXCELLENT and in this case it was BEYOND EXCELLENT. I've had pizzas from New York and Chicago and the pizza at Pizza Street Kitchen by far is the BEST pizza I've ever had and the price is PERFECT!! Unbelievable to get pizza that good at such a low price. Will definitely be back!!”
“We were looking for a place to enjoy breakfast outside. After arriving we were seated without a wait on a sunday morning. The menu choices were perfect. Our server greeted us quickly and brought our coffee. The food arrived in a timely manner. We enjoyed our breakfast and the atmosphere. This will be on our list for a return visit.”
“Travis provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. He took the time to make sure my order was exactly right, and the sandwich he made was excellent—fresh, well-prepared, and one of the best I’ve had. His attention to detail and positive attitude really stood out. Employees like Travis make a big difference, and I truly appreciate the great experience he provided. Keep up the amazing work!”
“I’ve been supporting this local store for years and it’s so nice to have a health food store in the area. I will say that within the past year, the prices have gotten out of control. I can really no longer afford to shop here. A small container of tuna salad at the deli went from about $6 something to $8.99. I’m not quite sure how anybody can afford this store anymore. I understand that with the closing of Publix and Winn Dixie there are very few places to shop for groceries on the island. I think the owner is taking advantage of this now. So I recommend it for the selection but cannot recommend it at all for the cost. 😕”

“Was looking for a quiet place for a drink in Fernandina. Not as easy thing to find since the island establishments are always so busy. Parked out back and walked in to the Principal’s Office with no wait. There were only 4 other people there. Drinks were a bit pricey but the selections were very classy and well made. Both TV at the bar playing black and white shows from the old days. One closest to me had the Andy Griffith show.”
“This is a great store. But this review is to say they are such nice people. I was looking for a specific gift this past Christmas that I thought they would have, but they didn't carry. They were very helpful in pointing out one of their competitors a few blocks down that could help me. Very much appreciated!”
“UPDATE FEOM ONE YEAR AGO:
WOW the food and service has gone downhill. After so.many wonderful meals last season, we have been there 2x this year and both were a disaster. Waitstaff has gone from great to average; food quality (meat) has slipped and the cooking was terrible
Not going back sad to say.....
We were sent to this place by our realtor, Tammy Barnes, for the steak night. It was awesone...so awesome in fact we are going back tonight! The prices are reasonable and entrees are shareable. Desserts are equally great ( word of caution: don't do a take out on the tiara misu and eat it after 830 PM ..we found our that the use real expresso...got to sleep.by about 3AM
But wow, it was good going down! 😆”
“Agreed with other posts that this place is a hidden gem! There is a fire pit with beautiful views of the 9th hole. You can also play corn hole with the family!
Food is delicious & price is very reasonable. Overall, one of our fav spots on the Omni Amelia Island property.”
“The LOCALYST BAR OF ALL BARS EVER
EVER! This bar is Fernandina beach. Tourist go to Palace Turlte and boat house
house. All the workers, waiters l, cooks chefs, bartenders, security, bar tenders, managers, associates, and cleaners, movers and shakers that work to keep this town going end up coming here to be themselves and no longer have to spend there time serving others and forcing a smile and actually relax, kick back, play pool, karaoke, bingo nights, near beach, prime real-estate, smell the ocean feel the wind, food truck usually available every evening, and top notch security and local spirits. The silver slick back retirees In the day and at night all the youthful or still feeling youthful locals. Top deck, beer pong tournaments, festive holiday decors and great dj and music vibes.”
“Despite being in a Harris Teeter, this was one of the cleanest, neatly organized and best experiences I’ve had.Sonya is clearly a professional and even though her fellow employees had not shown up to work yet and she was by herself I still received my order faster than I ever have.Superior service with a smile, what more could you ask for? I hope Starbucks knows what a valuable team member they have here.”

“We go to KP's for lunch 4-5X every week. Their daily specials are great as is their extensive # of regular menu items. The portions are more than adequate and their prices are VERY reasonable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's a little off the beaten path, which is perfect for us locals and anyone else who has eaten there. They also serve several white/red wines, 4 draft beers, and more than a dozen bottled beers. Go there once and you'll be hooked. Warning: it can get pretty busy on weekdays between 11:30-1:00.”
“Ordered a take out Alfredo chicken pizza and went in to wait for pickup. Servers were exceptionally kind, restaurant appeared clean, and the customers looked happy to dine there. There was a group of six women sitting together and one appeared to be a regular because the waitress immediately brought her a beer and greeted them - that's good customer care in my opinion.”
“Great spacious Venue, outside patio seating, open format, LATIN Night on thursdays, Friday Ladies Night, & Saturdays Line Dancing & DJ after. Also is attached to a 2nd bar for different atmosphere, recommend also same owners of Palace Saloon Oldest Bar in Florida (tourist spot)”
“We got the beef lo mein large meal. 2 x spring rolls and a small rice about 20 dollars. Two people ate it. 3/4 of the food is still there.
There was so much lo mein that I said someone had to sit on this box to close it.
Like that wasnt enough there was so much meat I had to dig up lol mein. And the meat was also good. Not like other places that is like used car tire meat.
If you are in the area and want Asian, this is the place.”
“Our first visit was great. There was a Gouda Mac & cheese with grilled chicken that was awesome. Came back the next day for lunch and they completely redid the menu, taking it off and the dessert we were eyeing. Hope they bring it back in the future!”
“Great food & great staff - paella rustica , empanada , flan and Sangria - Muy bien !!!”
“Absolutely incredible Sheppard’s Pie! I’d absolutely drive here just for the pie. The rest of the dishes also looked great! Great atmosphere and service as well.”

“This store is a wonderful place to shop and since the manager has gotten rid of some employees that were not a good fit for this family store it is so much better the guy named mike and the one who wrote the last review is who i am talking about. Keep up the great job.”

“Wonderful evening dining at this quaint restaurant. We started with the Orange & Fennel salad. This was very fresh and delicious. Next my husband had the Ragu which he loved. It was a chunky ragu full of flavor, see pic. I had the Sicilia which had cherry tomato’s and fresh herbs perfectly delicious. We ate every strand of their homemade pasta in our bowls. Next we shared the Veal PizzaIola. We both wished we weren’t sharing, it was so tender and delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of their Nere’ Sicilian Red wine with dinner. All was followed by a homemade tiramisu and double espresso. While we were stuffed we had to try it. See pic below. We loved everything…the owner was extremely kind & welcoming to all patrons as were the waitstaff. Delicious authentic Italian food done perfectly.”

“Hi Kenny Rob and I would like to express our gratitude to you and your team for the exceptional service that are group received last evening. The team truly made this event go seamless and their attention to detail was certainly not missed. We look forward to many more special times at Salt Life Fernandina. Rob and Angie Patton”
“This place is well situated with a beautiful setting. The view was great and the staff was even better. The food came out promptly and all of it tasted fantastic. I would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. There's plenty of seating inside and on the patio connected to the back. There was a fireplace close to the waters edge and a small playground on the side. Bathrooms inside and out. The only negative was my vehicle was hit while I was inside eating and the guilty party left without a word. Which again the owners offered to review camera footage, but unfortunately we're angled away from where I was parked.”
“Stayed here Saturday night and let me tell you, it was the absolute BEST experience. From check in at the hotel with Chrissy, the amazing clean room that Britney made sure was perfect for us, to the food and drinks at the restaurant and bar. EVERYTHING was amazing. We got to drink and listen to awesome music, had the BEST greasy (come on ya know it’s good) yummy nachos and burger. And an AMAZING server! Chrissy even came and personally checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves! 10/10 service. Definitely our new vacation spot! And AFFORDABLE! Thank you so much The Surf! Yall are the best!”

“Located inside of the Ritz this spot has it all! Great coffee, pastries, cold drinks, deli like food and green juice that has to have bad stuff in it because it tastes far too good for just a healthy juice.
Awesome service that learned your name and drink. A morning highlight during my stay.”
“This shop was sweet. We walked in and it was relatively empty. It's not season so that makes sense. The couple next to us said the pizza was really good. We had frozen yogurt. They had 4-6 flavors total and a lot of toppings. This is good for families. There is an arcade inside and 2 TVs if you are looking to keep up with sports etc.
The waitstaff was kind. A bottle of water is $6 so a little pricey but good nonetheless.”
