“We had a great meal here the other night. We chose to sit outside under the covered patio which was great because the indoor dining area was little noisy. They brought out complimentary bread and an amuse-bouche to start. We ordered the Bone Marrow and Escargot as our appetizer, which was very tasty. I actually prefer this version over the Escargot option at David's. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and selected some wines to complement our meals. For the entree I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon and my partner ordered the Georges Bank Sea Scallops. He said they were some of the best scallops he's ever had. We finished off the night by ordering the Chocolate Bomb for dessert which was also delicious. It was light and rich, and it came drizzled with a raspberry sauce that really enhanced the flavors overall (I'm a sucker for raspberry). We will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.”
“Visited for the first time this weekend blown away by the hospitality owner and staff went above and beyond ! If you're looking for a great experience this is the place ! Will be back -Sydney”
“We had an amazing dinner! The menu is small and seasonal, but the fish chowder and steak frites we enjoyed were delicious! The service was excellent as well! Highly recommend if you’re in Fernindina Beach!”
“A thoroughly charming and popular spot. Great menu and excellent attention by staff. The food is ordinarily great. On this evening, the main courses (fish, chicken) were excellent, but the sides (carbs, veggies) were barely warm. Management was very considerate when billing. Definitely going back whenever we're in the area.”

“Love everything about Wicked Bao! The vibe is so fun, the owner is amazing, and the bao flavors are next level (the sake flavors are always such a fun twist). And the rice tots… SO delish. Best seat in the house is definitely the bar—great energy and experience all around. Highly recommend—go enjoy and support local! 💛”

“My friends and I stopped by this morning and had breakfast about 10:00 wow I didn't know what I had been missing now I do I'm sure I will be a regular. All three of us had different crustless quiches and they were all delicious the little salads that came with them were an explosion of taste in my mouth my quiche had mozzarella and pesto on top makeing it even more special”
“The white hair guy is horrible! I think his name is Wesley? He yells at the servers! We won’t be back until he is gone! Get rid of him! He’s mean to your staff.”
“If you haven’t made your way to Kitchen 251 on Amelia Island yet, stop what you’re doing and fix that immediately. William and I had the pleasure of dining at Chef Michael’s newly relocated restaurant in Fernandina Beach, and from the moment we walked in, we knew this wasn’t going to be just another night out—it was an experience. The entire staff is simply outstanding. Not just attentive, but genuinely welcoming in a way that sets the tone from the start and carries through the entire evening. You can feel the pride in the room. Now let’s talk about the food… because this is where Chef Michael truly works his magic. Chef Michael has placed his Midas touch across a thoughtfully crafted menu of well-developed, absolutely delicious dishes that can satisfy even the most selective palate. The seafood? Exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with a level of care that reminds you why this area was once considered the seafood capital of the Southeast. And for those who prefer more traditional fare, the options are just as impressive—something that has been surprisingly hard to find done this well in our area until now. Every dish we experienced was over-the-top delicious, with generous portions that don’t sacrifice quality for quantity (a rare balance these days). You leave satisfied—but already thinking about what you’ll order next time. Kitchen 251 isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a much-needed revival of what dining on Amelia Island should feel like. We’ll absolutely be back… probably sooner than we should admit.”

“We have eaten here on Sunday for brunch several times. Fabulous service and the food never fails to be delicious no matter what we order. My favorite, French toast, melts in your mouth. My husbands favorite, steak and eggs, is wonderful. Such a nice atmosphere, and wonderful staff! Thanks to all!”
“We didn’t have the chance to dine at Akari Sushi this time, but I absolutely had to share our experience. My mother tripped and fell right outside the restaurant, and one of their staff members, Wendy — a truly compassionate woman — immediately rushed to our aid. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and reassuring during a very stressful moment. She even brought out napkins and first aid supplies to help us.
Even though we didn’t end up eating there, the kindness and humanity Wendy showed spoke volumes about the restaurant and its staff. I simply wanted to thank Wendy and let others know what a caring team they have at Akari Sushi. THANK YOU!”
“By far our best casual (non seafood, after all you can only eat so much shrimp) during our stay. The boys had the bartenders special (6 or 7 beers in a bucket chosen at random by the bartender) that was fun and a winner. I had something foodie and it was delish and GREAT friendly service (maybe by Carly?) but what stole the show was the food1 Seriously, these were the best burgers we may have ever, ever had and the BBQ sandwich was off the charts! Just order it - you're welcome...
Oh the vibe is very cool, if a bar popped up in a cosy airplane hanger. We loved it and highly HIGHLY recommend!!!”
“We had such an amazing experience tonight for our daughter’s 17th birthday. They gladly accommodated 11 people in our party! The ambience was absolutely perfect — warm, inviting, and beautifully set. It made the entire evening feel special from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. And our waitress… truly beyond outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. Honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back!”
“I happened by this place and was so glad I did! It happened to be during buffet time and the buffet was fantastic! Everything tasted fresh, warm, and flavorful. The staff are hard at work checking on the room and keeping the buffet fresh. Impressive! These guys know what they are doing!”

“Had an amazing lunch with our friend visiting from Oklahoma. Our server, Heidi took great care of us. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Al Motola”
“I rarely leave reviews about restaurant experiences unless it was EXTREMELY horrible or EXTREMELY EXCELLENT and in this case it was BEYOND EXCELLENT. I've had pizzas from New York and Chicago and the pizza at Pizza Street Kitchen by far is the BEST pizza I've ever had and the price is PERFECT!! Unbelievable to get pizza that good at such a low price. Will definitely be back!!”

“We were looking for a place to enjoy breakfast outside. After arriving we were seated without a wait on a sunday morning. The menu choices were perfect. Our server greeted us quickly and brought our coffee. The food arrived in a timely manner. We enjoyed our breakfast and the atmosphere. This will be on our list for a return visit.”
“I’ve been supporting this local store for years and it’s so nice to have a health food store in the area. I will say that within the past year, the prices have gotten out of control. I can really no longer afford to shop here. A small container of tuna salad at the deli went from about $6 something to $8.99. I’m not quite sure how anybody can afford this store anymore. I understand that with the closing of Publix and Winn Dixie there are very few places to shop for groceries on the island. I think the owner is taking advantage of this now. So I recommend it for the selection but cannot recommend it at all for the cost. 😕”
“Randomly walked in here just to see if I wanted Jersey Mikes or something else while running errands. Eve though I came in for that alone, I was still treated like a friend of high respect by the employees Paul and Haley.
Hope this corporate actually reads reviews and sees that these two are showing friendliness even while in the stress of mobile orders and other orders. While subway I went to talked to customers how they dislike other customers.
I left with only a drink, and a good attitude.”
“Best Italian Restaurant in North Florida , what a delicious dinner , the lasagna was delicious and the seafood pasta fantastic.I highly recommend .”

“Was looking for a quiet place for a drink in Fernandina. Not as easy thing to find since the island establishments are always so busy. Parked out back and walked in to the Principal’s Office with no wait. There were only 4 other people there. Drinks were a bit pricey but the selections were very classy and well made. Both TV at the bar playing black and white shows from the old days. One closest to me had the Andy Griffith show.”
“This is a great store. But this review is to say they are such nice people. I was looking for a specific gift this past Christmas that I thought they would have, but they didn't carry. They were very helpful in pointing out one of their competitors a few blocks down that could help me. Very much appreciated!”
“Agreed with other posts that this place is a hidden gem! There is a fire pit with beautiful views of the 9th hole. You can also play corn hole with the family!
Food is delicious & price is very reasonable. Overall, one of our fav spots on the Omni Amelia Island property.”
“Despite being in a Harris Teeter, this was one of the cleanest, neatly organized and best experiences I’ve had.Sonya is clearly a professional and even though her fellow employees had not shown up to work yet and she was by herself I still received my order faster than I ever have.Superior service with a smile, what more could you ask for? I hope Starbucks knows what a valuable team member they have here.”
“We go to KP's for lunch 4-5X every week. Their daily specials are great as is their extensive # of regular menu items. The portions are more than adequate and their prices are VERY reasonable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's a little off the beaten path, which is perfect for us locals and anyone else who has eaten there. They also serve several white/red wines, 4 draft beers, and more than a dozen bottled beers. Go there once and you'll be hooked. Warning: it can get pretty busy on weekdays between 11:30-1:00.”

“This small family - run business delivers an excellent Italian dinner to your door! Great customer service and delivery! We love the tomato/basil/mozzarella salad and chicken scampi with buttery garlic knots and warm Zeppole with Raspberry sauce for desert.
The Stromboli is fantastic and the sweet & sour Hawaiian pizza always delights!!!!”

“Great spacious Venue, outside patio seating, open format, LATIN Night on thursdays, Friday Ladies Night, & Saturdays Line Dancing & DJ after. Also is attached to a 2nd bar for different atmosphere, recommend also same owners of Palace Saloon Oldest Bar in Florida (tourist spot)”
“Our delivery was perfect. All the food was perfectly prepared. The taste was better than expected. We received everything exactly as ordered. The delivery person was polite and arrived sooner than expected. Thank You. Would definitely recommend and would order again.”
“We went here after a terrible experience at another restaurant on the resort. The young lady who took our order was amazing!! She didn’t have a name tag on but she had longer dreads/braids and glasses so shout out to her for her amazing service. The pizza was fairly good but a tad on the salty side given the amount of meat added as toppings (we picked the meat lovers so maybe it’s our fault!). She gave us ranch on the side no charge and gave us hope that people really are still kind and warm. We would come back again.”
“As a family our Christmas tradition has been to get take out Chinese from New China. Unfortunately New China was not open (or so busy they were not answering their phones) and we were forced to try something new. Let me say, I AM SO GLAD we tried King Wok! The Orange Chicken was phenomenal and was even good warmed up the next day! The pork fried rice was just fine and the man answering the phone could have been warmer (but hey, they were slammed busy). I will definitely be back.”
“Great time at pool and lunch was wonderful. Loved the salmon BLT.”
“Our first visit was great. There was a Gouda Mac & cheese with grilled chicken that was awesome. Came back the next day for lunch and they completely redid the menu, taking it off and the dessert we were eyeing. Hope they bring it back in the future!”
“Great food & great staff - paella rustica , empanada , flan and Sangria - Muy bien !!!”
“I was at this relatively new Irish Pub two times in February and the atmosphere and service was awesome and would give the place 5 Stars. We went back tonight for a completely different experience. We sat at the bar and it was sometime before the bartender made eye contact and asked if we wanted something to drink. My wife had a wine and I asked for a Guinness. The wine came and the Guinness was partially poured correctly. After it sat for way longer then necessary I asked the bartender if I could have my Guinness. She finished the pour and gave it to me. We then after sometime were asked if wanted to order food- Guinness Pie was good as well as my wife’s shrimp dish but they didn’t bring the salad dressing we asked for and it was then bartender told us she new and appeared she had little training. I nicely explained to the bartender she was not using the Guinness tap correctly and she didn’t take well to my effort to help her become better at being a bartender in an Irish pub. The worst part of the night was 3 to 5 employees having loud conservations behind the bar with no regard to customers or the overall atmosphere of an Irish Pub. The owners were in the bar and seem completely unaware of what was happening. We come to Fernandia Beach every year for 5 weeks and this is a great addition to the town. The owners can blow this review off or take it to heart and make the necessary changes to ensure a successful business venture.”

“This store is a wonderful place to shop and since the manager has gotten rid of some employees that were not a good fit for this family store it is so much better the guy named mike and the one who wrote the last review is who i am talking about. Keep up the great job.”

“Wonderful evening dining at this quaint restaurant. We started with the Orange & Fennel salad. This was very fresh and delicious. Next my husband had the Ragu which he loved. It was a chunky ragu full of flavor, see pic. I had the Sicilia which had cherry tomato’s and fresh herbs perfectly delicious. We ate every strand of their homemade pasta in our bowls. Next we shared the Veal PizzaIola. We both wished we weren’t sharing, it was so tender and delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of their Nere’ Sicilian Red wine with dinner. All was followed by a homemade tiramisu and double espresso. While we were stuffed we had to try it. See pic below. We loved everything…the owner was extremely kind & welcoming to all patrons as were the waitstaff. Delicious authentic Italian food done perfectly.”
“A thoroughly charming and popular spot. Great menu and excellent attention by staff. The food is ordinarily great. “My Husband and I decided to try this Restaurant. We’re Locals, but we have never stopped in. The parking lot is usually pretty busy, but we wanted seafood. Our waitress Camille was very sweet. She was helpful and attentive. My Husband had the catch of the day, and I had The Seafood Combination. It included crabcake, shrimp, fried fish, orka and fries. We had their Oysters, and they were very good. The Restaurant is large, lots of seating. Indoor and outdoor. Casual setting. Would go back.”
“Stayed here Saturday night and let me tell you, it was the absolute BEST experience. From check in at the hotel with Chrissy, the amazing clean room that Britney made sure was perfect for us, to the food and drinks at the restaurant and bar. EVERYTHING was amazing. We got to drink and listen to awesome music, had the BEST greasy (come on ya know it’s good) yummy nachos and burger. And an AMAZING server! Chrissy even came and personally checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves! 10/10 service. Definitely our new vacation spot! And AFFORDABLE! Thank you so much The Surf! Yall are the best!”

“Located inside of the Ritz this spot has it all! Great coffee, pastries, cold drinks, deli like food and green juice that has to have bad stuff in it because it tastes far too good for just a healthy juice.
Awesome service that learned your name and drink. A morning highlight during my stay.”

“This shop was sweet. We walked in and it was relatively empty. It's not season so that makes sense. The couple next to us said the pizza was really good. We had frozen yogurt. They had 4-6 flavors total and a lot of toppings. This is good for families. There is an arcade inside and 2 TVs if you are looking to keep up with sports etc.
The waitstaff was kind. A bottle of water is $6 so a little pricey but good nonetheless.”
“This is the best restaurant I’ve been to on Amelia Island! Blown away by how good everything was. The standout dish of the night was the shrimp in spicy coconut sauce. 5 tapas for 2 people was the perfect amount of food.”
