My husband and I (30 & 34) had a staycation at the nearby hotel. We went here after hearing so many great things! It was a little underwhelming but neat to see the oldest bar. However, service was GREAT! I dont remember the blonde woman's name who served us on 3/9/24 but you were great!
Who cannot love the oldest bar in Florida in located in the Historical District of Fernandina. I have been coming here for a lifetime and is always on my visitor tour list! Today was my son's turn. It's actually so nice to share nostalgia with your adult child while sipping "Pirate Punch". The bar is beautiful and its history vast. It's probably great that these walls don't talk. Oh the stories they could tell!

Fun experience. Just to sitting at a 120 year old bar was amazing by Florida standards. When we asked about certain mixed drinks our engaging bartender Johnny explained the difference between a saloon and a bar. Basically a Saloon doesn't have all the ingredients for fancy drinks. Hence we defaulted to a very well made old fashioned and, gin martini. We definitely look forward to returning!
