First visit was better than the second. First time, Cuban sandwich and beans and rice were very good. Great tostones! Second visit, my pork empanada was hot on the outside but frozen in the center. Flan was tasty. Dining area feels a little like a cafeteria, not much atmosphere.Parking: Parking lot can be tight, around to the side.
We had the Cuban sandwich spicy and the Elena Ruth sandwich with Brie cheese added. The Cuban sandwich was very flavorful, especially compared to other Cuban sandwiches we've had in the area that were dry and bland. The Cuban sandwich here was moist, savory, and had a little bit of flare to it as we ordered it spicy style.The Elena Ruth sandwich was very unique and very sweet. We visited here twice during our stay on the island. As my 7 year old said when asked if she liked the food, it was amazing. We had the privilege of meeting the owner who couldn’t have been nicer. This is Cuban food with a modern twist. All very good and fresh. We will make this a regular stop when we visit.
