Alloro Bistrot Fernandina Beach

Wonderful evening dining at this quaint restaurant. We started with the Orange & Fennel salad. This was very fresh and delicious. Next my husband had the Ragu which he loved. It was a chunky ragu full of flavor, see pic. I had the Sicilia which had cherry tomato’s and fresh herbs perfectly delicious. We ate every strand of their homemade pasta in our bowls. Delicious fresh Italian food. A little expensive, but we’ll worth it! Love the Lasagna. We tried the pasta and a Focaccia Bread sandwich today. Give them a try!

My sisters and I dined there. All three entrees were delicious but very small. We left hungry. I had the chicken roll entree, which was one chicken thigh, one baby carrot, one broccoli spear, and about five spinach leaves (menu called it a "spring salad"). I paid $23 plus tip for that. On the plus side, the experience gave us something to laugh about later. If we'd ordered appetizers and dessert, we would have probably left feeling fuller, but we didn't want to spend a fortune....read full review
