Very solid food and a fun place to have a pint or two
Walked by the place for several years and actually tried it for the first time today. A really good Irish pub menu and very reasonable as well. Staff were attentive, food was delicious and piping hot. The Guinness Pie is delicious and authentic. We will definitely be regulars in future.
First time visit. Will be back. Food was hot and wait time minimal. Waiter was personable and pleasant and restaurant clean.

Scully's Irish Pub & Eatery is a relatively new and wonderful addition to the downtown area of Fernandina Beach, offering a typical pub style inside and a beautiful outdoor courtyard. The atmosphere is generally friendly, relaxing, and just what you would expect from an Irish pub, though some visits note loud employee conversations behind the bar that can disrupt the atmosphere. Service experiences vary, with some staff being welcoming, helpful, and excellent, while others can appear to have little training, leading to slow service and inattentiveness.
The menu features classic and satisfying pub fare. The Reuben sandwich, with its tender corned beef and fresh rye bread, receives high praise, as does the messy and enjoyable sourdough Reuben. The Irish Smash Burger is a must-try, and the smash burgers are excellent, especially as a Monday special. Other standout items include the Guinness Pie, a hearty Shepherds Pie full of meat and cheese, savory bangers and mash, and terrific fish chowder. Portions are often giant, with some dishes like the Shepherds Pie being enough for two. The French fries are repeatedly celebrated as fresh, crispy, and an absolute favorite.
For drinks, the pub offers all the standard pub beers and a full bar. The Guinness and Killkenny pours are typically bang-on perfectly poured, and the Irish coffees are noted as perfect. Scully's presents itself as a great addition to the town with the potential to be a successful business venture, where attention to consistent service and atmosphere could ensure a consistently excellent experience.
