Not a sushi person, but my son is.m, and it was his birthday. The waitress was absent both in personality and service. She didn’t have basic knowledge about drinks on the menu. The portions were small, but quite tasty. The bathroom was old, nothing fancy. I had to repeatedly ask our server for simple things like napkins. She came close to our table twice without bringing me what I had asked for. It was not crowded so there was no excuse for that. Also, $85 for three people’s lunch was very expensive. IMHO.

We live in NC and tried Akari while visiting family in FL and it was SO good! Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in town!

This has got to be the best sushi I have ever had. From raw fish to cooked fish. The food is fresh, and I can’t say a single bad thing about it. I live in Tennessee , and I dream about this sushi since I had it two weeks ago for the first time. This will now be a must when I go back to visit home! The atmosphere is nice.
