I will start by saying this restaurant/brewery is all about location: right in the heart of historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The outdoor seating is great for people watching and enjoying the beautiful weather. Our server was wonderful: attentive and friendly. The food was your basic pub fare. My son's buffalo wings were on the dry side and my salad was your basic Cobb. I got a flight of 4 beers (2 I first requested were unfortunately out). I found the beer to be ok- nothing stood out about it and made me want to try a full pour. There was a great selection of cocktails, which I now wish I had selected instead of the beer.

The food was awesome and they had a vegan choice which also was very good!!! We had wonderful friendly service and we were asked how our dining experience was which I thought was extra special. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The Tavern by AIBC located at 318 Centre St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 is a fantastic gem!Really, really good food and service! Manager Brett speaks in a video in my review about the place. Cheesteak, Fish and Chips (best of best!), and their Burgers are outstanding. Gigantic Pretzels also. Reasonable prices Highly recommended! It’s a very cool brewery too.Parking: Parking is better done with walking…….

Decent beers and great selection of tasty food plus plenty of outdoor semi-heated patio for cooler nights with the puppy. Service has gotten worse though. Either not enough staff or not good staff. Had to ask for everything 3

We have been here several times but something has changed. The beer was good, although several were out, but truthfully, the food was just awful. We both ordered the fish tacos expecting what we’ve had so many times before and they were like fish sticks with a dollop of cole slaw on top. The service was ok considering the place was almost empty. Not sure we will be back or recommend to family and friends who come to visit.

A true GEM of Amelia Island! The waiter, not sure if I'm spelling his name correctly Tiberius? Was excellent! Making food suggestions and appearing at just the right time to help. The food is absolutely TOP NOTCH. From the drinks to the wings to the sandwich you could taste the quality! I've eaten at many places in this area and this is where I'll be defaulting as the place to bring friends here on out when visiting the area.

French Onion soup was not very good, but the prime rib sandwich was. Truffle fries were really great.
