Went twice in a week both times food was not good. Meat bland in enchilada and burrito. Second visit tacos were cold.

The worst service we have EVER experienced!!! 14 of us (ex Ritz peeps) celebrating but were just shockef with the disinterested, rude server ever!!! Pity the bill auto added the tip for large group or she would have got $0! She spoilt the evening 😡

I am literally so disappointed and bummed out. I have always loved Cantina Louie. I actually order the same meal every time I go or order take out/delivery, the ground beef chimichanga meal with no red sauce, lettuce, or tomato. While they usually give me double helpings of refried beans and rice for asking for no side salad, and that's a huge plus, the dang chimichanga was a veggie overload of peppers and onions 🤮 the main things I HATE. Could at least put those in the description on UberEats so I could have asked for no onions and no peppers. They never ever had onions and peppers in the ground beef chimichanga before. Why suddenly change the way they make something when it's been a hugely loved dish all these years? Now I am going to have to find another place with chimichangas that don't make theirs with a veggie apocalypse 🙄 Super sad.

Everything was fantastic. Very laid back atmosphere. Loved the art presented from the outside to inside throughout. The food was great and generous portions.

Usually enjoy Cantina Louie for a quick bite but last night was off. Slow service, sloppily prepared food, order was incorrect, black beans were tasteless and the mixed drink was syrupy. Waiter never refilled our water glasses. Hope it was just a bad night and not a sign of things to come.

The food was just okay. The meat in both tacos were bland, as well as the chimichurri. The refried beans were decent enough, but could've also been seasoned more. I also tried their horchata, but it was way too sweet! The only things I enjoyed that night was the chips and guac. There's too many great Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville, and a few in Yulee to settle for this place.

The hostess was friendly. She was actually the best part of my visit. I knew I should've gone with my first mind and found some place else to eat when there were barely any cars in the parking lot.
I eat a lot of Mexican food in a lot of different places. The food was disappointing. The pictures online made the food look way better than it was. I ate a few forks of beans, rice and street corn before deciding that I wasnt going to try to eat anymore. I wouldnt go back nor would I recommend.

Lunch, dinner or just hanging out is great at C Louie! The chips and salsa are great to start with a margarita. We usually have several different specialty tacos. The shrimp and corn are amazing. Definitely a place to try. While indoors is cool and comfy, the outdoor patio is the place to be in nice weather.

The ambiance here is great, but the food didn’t measure up. My girlfriend’s burrito arrived cold and tasted like a fast-food knockoff. For the quality and the level of service we experienced, the prices felt too high. Unfortunately, I’d refrain from dining here again.

Stopped by Cantina Louie’s for a quick bite. I really miss how, back home, Mexican restaurants always had weekend soups like pozole, menudo, or caldo de pollo/res — none of that here. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos, which were supposed to have pineapple but didn’t. Tortillas weren’t warm, and the tacos came out lukewarm.

Chris had the street corn skillet — served cold, canned corn, and not cotija cheese. His mahi tacos had a decent piece of fish and tasty mango salsa, but also came out lukewarm.

Best part of the meal? The drinks — those were great!

We love it here, first time visiting. Food was delicious, our server Jose was very attentive. It was Sunday afternoon it was quiet not a lot of people.

I had high expectations after hearing so many positive things about this restaurant chain, but my visit was unfortunately disappointing.

The good: the chips and salsa were excellent, the marsh view was beautiful, and our waiter delivered outstanding service — friendly, attentive, and professional.
The bad: the food did not live up to the reputation. The Tamarindo drink was extremely diluted — more like sweetened brown water than a real tamarind beverage. My husband and I tried both types of enchiladas (green and red), and neither impressed. The refried beans had an off, almost seafood-like flavor, and the enchiladas were simply rolled tortillas with sauce on top — not fried, baked, or broiled as true enchiladas should be (have several Mexican friends)
It’s disappointing, because the place itself has a great atmosphere and could be perfect for gatherings, such as our upcoming Bday celebration; but the food quality doesn’t match the setting or service. Maybe it was an off day, but I wouldn’t return unless I get invited without another choice.
