Every time I visit, I look forward to the next time!They are truly a hidden gem!(Hiding in “plain sight” right by the first street on the right as you cross the “big bridge” onto Amelia Island.)I even order take out to take home.All the BBQ is perfect.Vegetables are delicious.The banana pudding is made fresh after you order. Captain Jack's has some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. It's juicy and tender and their BBQ sauce is delicious! The potato salad tastes homemade and is also some of the best I've ever had. Their fries are delicious and the loaded BBQ potato is SO good! I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try, you won't regret it!

The food is usually good, but they never have enough help so you usually have to wait a long time for your food. You will get seated right away, I recommend sitting outside on nice evenings to watch the sunset over the marsh.Parking: Parking can sometimes be a challenge due to the popularity of the Mexican restaurant next door as they share a lot.
