I love this chef Ricky. The street tacos are amazing. Add sweet potato grits for an extra $1.00 and you’re in foody heaven. Max the bartender is also efficient and personable.

as I drove home in to FB tonight after a long day of work, I patiently waited in line through a 2nd light cycle where the road narrows into 2 lanes entering town before Mocoma . As the line started up again a silver Ford Explorer raced up the right turn lane to the front of the line and swerved in front of me causing me to swerve into the middle narrowly avoiding an accident. I put my arms up in the air as in what are you doing only the get the finger from the female driver. I followed her quite offended and she went directly to the back of the The Crab Trap where a large man in an apron told he is the manager, and she is on his time and threatened me, ordering me to leave. I tried to speak to him but felt not safe so I left. I am more of an Arte's regular - but now that I know the kind of people of work and manage in that organization never again.

So this place literally charges $8.00 for a shirley temple for a kid, without telling you. If you aren't familiar with a Shirley Temple its literally a sprite with a splash of grenadine. And if the kid has a refill it's another $8.00. Its unfortunate as the food was really good. Probably wont be back.

Came here on a whim. The restaurant/bar is very bright and inviting. Started things off with an appetizer of crab cakes. These crab cakes were the real deal. Too bad you only get two per order. I could have easily made a meal of them. Decided to order a shrimp burger with sweet potato fries for the main meal. These were the absolute best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy and the right amount of cinnamon sprinkled on them to make you forget they’re healthy. The shrimp burger was booming with flavor. It also came on a brioche bun which added to the magic of the taste. Brittany was a wonderfully warm waitress and was very attentive. I will certainly be back whenever I’m in Fernandina.
The Crap Trap is a hidden gem. The service is always phenomenal. Jody and Brittney are the absolute best. They make you feel right at home and treat you like family. The food has been excellent. Have patience they are busy and work super hard and at times under staffed but they make sure you are taken care of and truly care about their customers. You won't be disappointed.

I came in at 7:40pm and stood at the host stand for the guy to come tell me that he closed the kitchen. This is ridiculous it says that this restaurant closes at 9pm.

I kept seeing mixed reviews and I've wanted to go forever so I finally made it. I wasn't impressed, they couldn't make a decent range water, switched to beer and couldn't finish my meal it was not good, had a pretty decent appetizer (crab stuffed mushrooms).The view was nice but you have to sit upstairs and try to get a window spot, (they need to clean the windows) service was slow, nice lady just slow. If I went back it would only be for a beer
