Delicious food and excellent, courteous service. We are repeat customers and will be back! Thank you.
Service was outstanding. We enjoyed meatballs, pasta primavera and chicken parmigiana. Cozy and quiet setting. Highly recommend
Was there for our 57th wedding anniversary had a couple of drinks ordered our meal Chicken Parm The meal came Chicken was cold the pasta tasted like paste very disappointing nothing for our anniversary like a after dinner drink or dessert Sorry we went there for a special occasion
Cozy location off A1A 1st Coast Hwy. Food was tasty & fresh. However my fettuccine Alfredo was not very hot and the acoustics need work-super noisy in small space. It was hard to have a conversation with my friend without having to speak really loud. I'll go back again for another try!
Party of 6 with a variety of entrees. All were excellent! Tuna appetizer was incredible. Service was superb!
The staff were great. The food left a lot to be desired. I leave a lot of restaurant reviews and rarely leave negative reviews, but the pasta and ravioli was chewy and the seafood was tough. The sauces were good, the bread and whipped feta were good and the salad was good. But, the entree's were not good. The lighting was dark, but the noise level and ambiance were good.
Upon arrival we were berated by the host for being late for our reservation. We were made to feel uncomfortable yet we chose this establishment based on prior experience to spend our $$ on vacation. From that moment on, our experience was tainted. Poor service, will not return.
A warm welcome by the hostess of a busy eatery goes a long way towards a pleasant experience. We were greeted like long lost family and showed to a quiet table Drinks quicky appeared along with a divine bruschetta. Regrettably the bread plate had stale and tasteless contents. The veal marsala was tasty but needed a bit more of the signature wine flavoring. The chicken piccatta was perfect. Store bought tiramasu was delightful. A better than decent spot to enjoy a wide offering of decent Italian food with a sterling collection of servers and greeters.
From making reservations, to paying the bill, the experience with Cucina South was excellent! Our server was helperful with the menu, attended to our requests promptly and was attentive throughout our meal. The food was a culinary delight. Eggplant parmigiana was lightly breaded with the flavor of the eggplant still evident. The pasta wasn't drowned in sauce, which has small tomato bits still present. Service size was right. The zuppa flavor was tasty with an abundance of varying seafood...all priced reasonably. The restaurant was recommended to us and we easily can recommend to others.
Both couples had flounder special. It was delicious. So nice to have Alyssa back for the summer. She did an excellent job.

The server was great with the amount of tables she had at the time. We counted she had 4 tables with 4 or less and an 11 top. So for the amount of tables the service was great. The food was mediocre- which was disappointing. One of the dishes was almost inedible with under cooked spaghetti (probably an entire minute of boiling before it would have been al dente')and the amount of salt in the dish. Disappointing as in the past the food was amazing!
Nice place. Friendly staff. Sat downstairs- quite dark. Bruschetta was great. Seafood lasagna- would not choose again.
What a wonderful dining experience.
Not only were the food, service, and atmosphere phenomenal, but the attitude of the waitstaff was unsurpassed. They truly care about the customers and want them to come back.
Our server was amazing. Walter understands what it means to execute excellence customer service. Food was awesome. Some gluten free options. Wine was well paired.
Great meal! I really liked the Cesar salad and the lobster risotto
