We had an amazing dinner tonight at Down Under. My husband ordered the Groupet Menuere and he gave it 5 star delicious. My shrimp and grits could not be improved on!!! Our drinks and service was excellent also.
We vacation at Fernandina every year, about half our meals are at Down Under. The food and service are outstanding! My husband says an oyster is an oyster, but Down Under's are the best on the east coast. He says, possibly it's because they're shucked properly, or their seafood sauce, or horse radish, who knows. If you like seafood, or steaks, this is the place. If you like raw oysters, this is nirvana!
