Firehouse Subs Fernandina

I've read several reviews that say the same thing. Going to be 25 to 30 min wait. Have catering orders to fill. Restaurant is empty. Seems to be a common occurrence. I ordered anyway. Took evert bit of 30 min. I guess 8:30 in the evening is not the time to come here.

Went on a Sunday night for subs. With three personal behind the counter, and no one in the restaurant, was told that they have many online orders and it would be 25 minutes before they could start working on our order. Very bad attitude.
Second time going and last time going.

My family stopped here for dinner on 7/27 @ 7pm to eat dinner. Walked in to a completely empty restaurant and 3 employees telling us that it would be a 25 min wait until we can even place an order becuase they had a couple of online orders in front of us and we could come back later if we wanted.

If you don’t want to order your stuff online, I wouldn’t go here. They’re super concerned about their online orders not the people standing in line when there is not one person in the store it’ll be a 15 minute wait sir.

Food fresh, good taste. Staff is very friendly. The only problem with this restaurant is that turning out sandwiches is very slow. This wasn’t the first time we encountered this issue. I don’t think it should take 30-35 minutes to get my food. There were several door dashers having to wait for their orders as well. This was not the typical lunch rush either. I saw 3 staff members working very hard, not sure what the issue was. If you choose this location, make sure you’re not in any hurry.

The sweetest and friendlier staff.

Parking: There’s select parking infront and side of the building !

Kid-friendliness: So sweet to my son . Even tho he wasn’t Hungary he was still offered a treat
