Great food wonderful service
Service was good and attentive without hovering. Food was outstanding. Both of us agreed that it was the best we had had so far. Very few customers. We were alone in the dining room. The waitress said it was an off time for them.
The food and service was excellent. The menu was imaginative and diverse to suit a wide variety of tastes. It is close to the Omni Resort if you are looking for a great dining experience off-property.
We all had a memorable evening. The food was outstanding as was the service. The tuna special was tied with the lambchops as the favorite meal. Ending with the souffle was outstanding! We did find it noisy at times with normal conversation difficult. We sat downstairs so the noise level may have been better if we sat upstairs.
We had to wait 25 minutes for our reserved table, which was unavoidable, but after we finally were seated, we waited 15 more for our waiter to appear, and our food did not appear for another 40 minutes. For our 7:30 reservation, we got our food at 8:45.
So many things on the menu I wanted to try! Will definitely have to go back so I can sample other things. I had the rack of lamb. It was very good. Lots of food for the money, and tasty too! Friendly staff and nice setting.
The restaurant external environment is beautiful. Even though it is located in what it's called a strip shopping center in Amelia Island, the restaurant and all the other buildings look like historical houses, warm and cozy. All the houses are under an amazing Oaks canopy. However, the interior could use a renovation that would complement the outside environment. It simply was a plain non elegant internal decor. As for the service and the food, it was very good. We enjoyed this restaurant and would return the next time we come to Amelia Island. The slight criticism is meant constructively so that it could be use to enhance and improve the competencies and beauty it already possesses. Finally, the open table service is well beyond excellent
My husband had the grouper, and I had the sea bass. Both meals were absolutely incredible. The coconut cake was delicious. This is an excellent restaurant for fish lovers, but not a good place for children at dinner.
My wife and I had a great time! The meal was excellent and finding this restaurant after seven years was exciting. Thank you to the hostess/owner and our waiter who provided us with an excellent souflee(it was our first, another great memory)!
Blackened blue snapper and sauteed Chilean sea bass, need I say more? Party of two, 6:30 reservation had us there for probably thirty minutes before anyone else showed up, giving us a private dining experience. Go early for romance, because by 7:30 the place is packed.

Absolutely wonderful meals. 6 of us with all different meals and everyone loved theirs. They have always been very accomodating to semi-vegetarian! This time we did not need to ask as they had something very appealing for her.
Overall the experience was enjoyable. Our only complaint was that the noise level was off the charts. The food was wonderful, our waitress knowledgeable and personable and it was clear that many of the patrons were regulars.
I found this place from reading the reviews on Open Table. This is by far the best meal I have ever eaten at a restaurant this good and I have been to many restaurants in many different cities and countries. The food was wonderful, the presentation and dining experience was the best! We even had room for desert, which we don't normally do not order, but we could not pass up the experience and it was as delicious as the meal. You must make this a stop as you will not be disappointed. We noticed most of the customers were locals which is always a good sign. Very enjoyable evening and hope to go back if we revisit Amelia Island.
