Great food wonderful service
Sensational restaurant. I would say "hidden gem" but I suspect it is well known to many. From the tomato soup, the pork chops, shrimp and grits, burgers, and then ..... coffee and donuts. Amazing all around. Rivals the best restaurants I have ever been to. The staff was perfect as well. I can't wait to return.
Southern chicken was disappointing. Chicken itself was crispy and well cooked but under seasoned. Served on top of Mashed potato's and 5 green beans. Could Have benefited from a nice peppery milk gravy.
I typically love the honey chicken, but the pieces were quite small and the breading was dry and overwhelming. My companions' shrimp and fish entrees were good..........but not memorable. Did 29 South change chefs from prior years............the desserts......flourless chocolate cake with butter pecan ice cream and the donut/coffee ice cream in the mug............were superb as usual.............but overall, a disappointing experience.
I have been to this restaurant many times and have always been happy. This time the food was not as good. I had the short ribs and they were over cooked. The potatoes however were under cooked. This was a busy weekend On the island so I am hoping that it was just a fluke.
One of favorite eateries in Fernandina Beach. Excellent food, attentive service. Limited seating inside so reservations are a must in cool weather.
Great food. Unusual food combos which added to the positive food experience. Wait staff seemed stretched too thin to be attentive to the customer
Been here many times and they do a great job. Food is always fresh, delicious and the service awesome!! Highly recommend this place.
An Amelia Island classic, consistently good, interesting food using the freshest of ingredients. Service is professional and pleasant. Location is great!
this has been one of our favorite restaurants in Fernandina Beach but this year it was a really poor eating experience. We had children with us who ordered a hamburger and McDonalds would close if ever they served a rubbery hard overcooked burger like this . One son had short ribs that should have been illegal they were also so rubbery as the hamburgers were. The plates did not even pretend to be fine dinning , empty of all niceties and decoration . We really debated asking for a refund which I have never thought of in a restaurant of this caliber . Before they charge others for a meal I hope they wake up and get something right .

As always, the staff was pleasant and efficient. The menu changes fairly regularly and ours had lots of fresh (think local) seafood deliciously prepared. The salads were fresh from there own gardens. Beware: servings are huge. Consider sharing. Prices were very reasonable.
Evening was great and all the food was good except one meal was bad. The fish was really dry. Service was amazing.
Nice every day local restaurant. Nothing fancy but everything was adequate . A bit hard to find as it is tucked behind storefronts and not on the main drag.
We are regulars. This is a great restaurant with a wonderful owner and chef. Courtney does a great job. Guarantee that you will enjoy your meal.
Enjoyed dinner and Jazz. Service is always great. Husband enjoyed the duck and I enjoyed the wahoo. Nice wine list and very affordable.
