Hosted a Bachlorette dinner party for 8 in outside garden. The staff did a wonderful job setting the table with the flowers and candles I provided. They focused on the details and the table was beautiful! Our waitress was attentive and the service flowed very nicely. The staff was very accommodating. I highly recommend Indigo for good service, pretty surroundings, and delicious food!

The food served here is thoughtful and loved. There is nothing pretentious or stuffy about it. Caitlin is an amazing server. I hope I spelled her name correctly. She is more than a server, she is a master of her craft. Please come eat the bacon, lobster Mac n cheese. Scallops and salmon. We were too full for dessert. What a wonderful way to celebrate my 50th birthday!

Had the best meal on the island here! Ate from the Monthly Fixed Price menu and it was fabulous. Was unsure of the duck but it was delicious! Also ate a beet salad and crab cakes - both were superb! The staff were professional, polite and knowledgeable. Well done by all!

Food and wine were both excellent in quality, value for money and selection. It really is great to have options like this on Amelia island. As for the service, it was clumsy, inconsistent and rude - which was a real shame as it could be easily corrected if they were open to listen to customers feedback, which they didn’t.

We really loved the restaurant that used to occupy this charming location so we weren’t expecting anything, and we were woefully underinformed and so delighted with Indigo. The server was knowledgeable and friendly but not hovering… but the food…Everyhing was a slam dunk. Duck, salmon, escargot, bacon, butter cake-all truly incredible. We will enthusiastically be back again and again!

Highly recommend Indigo for a nice meal in historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The fish features + warm butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream were outstanding.

Local friends set up dinner reservations here when we were in the area. They nor us had been here before. It’s obvious this is a place to dine not eat and we looked forward to catching up over a good meal.
The restaurant is situated in an updated single family house in downtown. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and seated in the alcove dining area. Seating was comfortable but table spacing was a bit close and the noise level just a little loud during dinner with all tables occupied. Overall the interior is fairly non de script with not much character. Table linens and glassware were nice.
We ordered glasses of wine to start from a fairly decent list of beverages. The menu on the other hand was limited between both appetizers and entrees. Could be due to the kitchen size or keeping the menu manageable.
For starters we ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Escargot with Bone Marrow to share. The lobster M&C had a great flavor with a little while lobster tail. Would have nice to have a bit more M&C to share. The escargot was cooked and served on top of a split in half bone of exposed marrow and some toasted bread slices. Really nice flavor with the escargot and marrow. However no juices to dip the escargot in.
For main I had the sea bass special. Nice presentation on the dish with a nicely browned sea bass filet. Unfortunately the red potato it was on was warmer than the fish. The green sauce made for a nice flavor with the fish along with the asparagus spears.
My partner got the crab cake appetizer for a dinner. The crabcakes were a mix of lump and shredded crab meat and had good flavor.
The other couple that was with us got the seared scallops and the flounder. Both came out with nice presentation. The scallops were lightly brown and looked absolutely delicious. They finished their entrées.
For dessert, we split the banana pudding cheesecake four ways. It was an interesting dessert. It was basically banana pudding on what appeared to be a banana bread like crust. It was tasty.
Our server was Caitlyn and she did a great job. She was attentive, knowledgeable, kept checking up on us and was not overbearing. We were never rushed during our meal.

We have gone to Le Clos several times and thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Living in Jacksonville Beach, we can easily take short road trips to Fernandina for the day and Le Clos was always top of our list, it was disappointing to find out they had closed. We went last weekend and walking by deciding to take a look inside. Surprisingly there were people in there and tables set but not many customers as it was pretty early for dinner. We discovered they were open and they seated us right away. Our server, Amanda, was very attentive and sweet. We got our favorite escargot, it was sitting on top of bone marrow which I don't eat but it was easy to pick off the escargot so we were both happy. We shared a beet salad and duck entree. I had never tasted duck, it was better than I thought duck would be. We were very happy that even though Le Clos is no more, Indigo seems to be just as awesome. We will be going back whenever we go to Fernandina. Highly recommend, note that it is a little pricey but overall reasonable for the quality of food and service.
I'll preface this with, fantastic food. So this review is not a critique of the fare. Where this place takes the L is in service. First, we were a walk in. Inside was booked. We opted then for the rear patio service. It was relatively warm out but we were assured fans were outside to move air. Well there were fans. Like 2 units about 20" & set far enough away from the dining area that they made little impact. Now this would've been fine had service not been at a snails pace. Which doesn't make sense since the place wasn't exactly packed. We were 15 minutes to get 2 of 4 appetizers. Another 5-10 minutes for the other two to make it to the table. Finished those up & we were a solid 30 minutes before entrees. We had no update from the waitress or apologies on the delay. Checks came & sat for another 15 before I had to ask the manager to take them. Another 15 before they got picked up & brought back. So all in all that's 2 hours outside in the heat for service. Not great. What could've been better? Communication. We had no communication from the waitress on delays. And when you're outdoors in the heat, that's not a good look. Would recommend indoor dining only at this location & lots of time on your hands.

So lucky to have found this hidden gem. We chanced upon this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere for dinner on a very busy Saturday night - so lucky for us that we did. We dined outside and the ambience was sophisticated, the food and wine delicious and the service was impeccable. 10/10
