It's my first time in the island and this place. Do not judge a book by its cover! From outside may not seem anything exciting or happening, but the place is spacious enough and cozy. They have a la carte menu and All You Can Eat Buffet included ice tea/ sodas. They have varieties of foods to choose from, such as Mac and cheese, grits, corn in the cobs or kernels, rice, sautéed shrimps, crispy shrimps, grill chicken and fried chicken which was delicious, juicy and crispy. I went for a second plate just for the crispy shrimps and the fried chicken, because they were so good. There's salad and dessert too. It's a perfect place if you want something quick, and delicious, especially warm grits during a chilly rainy day! Don't over think it, try this place, because I know I'll come back again in the future! The service was friendly and the place looks clean!

Good Ole home town cooking with a wide variety of country favorites that are all done to perfection, Mike and Kim put out such a spread of food for prices you cannot pass and I guarantee you won't go home hungry.

Everything (ribs, pork, turkey) is covered in pickles and swimming in mustard sauce. I like neither. What happened to bbq being about the process and not overshadowed by sauce. One and done for me.

Island Barbecue. Not on the island and no barbecue on the buffet.I had heard good things about the location in the island but this was a disappointment. First the good stuff: the fried pork chops were delicious and the creamed corn was unbelievable. Almost made up for the rest. The fried chicken was cold, dry and tough. The vegetable’s tasted like they came straight out of the can. Many were too salty. There was corn on the cob. One bite and I spat it out. There was “stuff” to make tacos but it looked unappetizing. And there were 2 varieties of pizza, neither looked good.Let me repeat, you could have tacos or pizza but no barbecue in a place that specializes in it. The salad bar offered few ingredients and the only dessert was banana pudding. For $17Maybe I’m spoiled but up the road are Missi’s and The Lunch Box. Each of their buffets have a half dozen meats and their veggies taste like Southern cooking. And for only $12.My wife and I were very disappointed. I had looked forward to this meal

My first visit here and the food was delicious! Definitely reminds me of some home cooking in the south ?. Probably the best pork chop I’ve ever had! Going back for the breakfast buffet in the morning ?. Have to get back on my diet after vacay!

You have a choice- sit down bbq or buffet at 16 usd. We chose the buffet an excellent value with fried chicken or chicken fried steak - the southern sides of okra, beans , butter beans, mashed potatoes - and many

Take out bulk bbq was great, preferred the pulled pork to the briscuit which was a little fatty for my taste but that is prob due to that particular cut of beef. Slaw and fried okra were really good as well.
