THE BEST!!! Always delicious, entertaining, and perfect for the family or date nights. They give you so much food you always have some to take home. We love Kabuki!

I was seated in a seat that was covered in something sticky. I was unaware till I felt my legs and clothes sticking to the chair. The person next to us spit out the rice that was tossed by the chef on to the grill where everyone’s food was currently being cooked. The chef used his spatulas to remove the contaminated food and used the same ones to cook the rest of everyone’s food. I was completely disgusted I left I as soon as l could without eating a single thing.

Wonderful.
They said they would get us in by 7:30 with a reservation. Get there at 7:15 and wait, 7:40 comes around, no seat. They finally sit us after lying and giving us a run around about reservations. We wait no joke an hour without getting a drink order. After waiting we try to speak to lady at the fron and we are ignored and she goes back to typing. After all of this disrespect we finally just leave. Terrible place, if I could leave 0 stars I would. I’d recommend anywhere else on the whole island before coming here, don’t waste your time, enjoy your vacation eating at a place that might give you food before an hour

Wonderful food. Our chef, Dante, was great. The food was cooked too perfection. We didn't get the ice cream that came with the Emperors dinner, but everything else was great.

This place used to be one of my favorite Japanese steakhouses 15 years ago, but unfortunately it’s really gone downhill which is very sad to see in this small island town. For tourists, they still may enjoy since they know nothing less, but for the locals, it's a shame to see it this way.
We waited over an hour and a half for cook to arrive when they WERE NOT busy compared to plenty of other time we have come and they were slammed. Once he finally arrived, our server forgot to turn on the grill. So we sat there another 10 minutes just waiting for the grill to heat up after he realized. It just felt really disorganized.
On top of that, the portion sizes have definitely gotten smaller. You’re paying the same prices (if not more), but getting noticeably less food than before.
They also haven’t had a sushi chef for months, which is disappointing for a place that advertises sushi. It really limits the menu and takes away part of what made this place special.
The food still tastes good — I’ll give them that. But good food isn’t enough to justify a 1.5+ hour wait, smaller portions, and overall lack of organization. It’s just not worth it anymore, which is sad because this used to be a go-to spot for us and our family. The kids love it, but it's unfortunate to want to venture out of our town to expect better service.

Ordered scallops which were inedible. They looked manufactured. Were cooked till they were hard over salted and flavorless.

Tuesday night birthday dinner. Arrived 30 minutes after opening at 6 pm, and was told there was going to be a 35-minute wait. Was seated at 645 to a full table. Waited 20 minutes for a drink order. The cook came at 750 and began cooking, then we received our soups and salads as he was serving up the rice to us. The cook wasn't entertaining and seemed confused about who got what. The birthday boy didn't even get acknowledged and the waiter was informed during ordering. Drink refills happened once. When the hostess was bringing to-go boxes, we informed her we didn't want our appetizer anymore. She immediately went to the kitchen and brought it out and cheerfully said no charge. Really, I would hope so. It's been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour.

Apart from us waiting for about 30 minutes before seating us the food and service experience was great.
Flori, the chef, was AMAZING! We were part of the memorial day dinner rush and he was so conscientious, and funny and engaging even though im sure he was tired. He and Michael our server made the experience very fun even though the wait time was long. Food was good as well and atmosphere was good.
Amazing place, amazing chef. Our server, Michael, was awesome was kept us up to date despite the long wait. Our Chef, i don’t want to butcher his name but i believe it was Fleury? He is funny and awesome! That wait was all the way worth it though.
