Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed a lovely table outdoors. Food was so delicious. I had the beet salad, and my husband order a Caesar salad with shrimp. We were impressed with both. We returned later, after another walk, for ice cream. The espresso chip is heavenly!!

Fantastic food! The best potato salad I've ever eaten. The sandwiches are worthy of an essay complimenting the flavors and presentation. Perfectly seasoned, complex fresh herbs... I dont have the words. 10/10 I would give more rating stars if I could. Bakery, candy counter, pastries, comfortable café seating, very clean, with attentive staff. French creamed soda with blackberry and lavender was a spiritual experience.

Honestly disappointing. They charge $17 for what is basically bread. The so-called shrimp sandwich is just a stump sandwich with one shrimp split in half to make it look like more. It feels misleading and absolutely not worth the price. This place is clearly aimed at tourists rather than quality or value. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Couldn’t rate the food as not a single one of the people standing in the back could be bothered to greet us or take our order. AGAIN!!!! Thought I would give them a second chance two years later, seems like they have learned or changed nothing! Don’t go!!

I ordered the bacon biscuit and replaced it with an English muffin. Waited over 15 minutes. So I started watching the kitchen to see when it’d be ready and noticed the heavyset black girl was chewing as she was packing up my order. Didn’t say anything because I didn’t see her take food from my plate to put it in her mouth, but seriously why would you eat as you’re packing an order (check your cameras if you don’t believe me). Then I get my order and notice it’s not a sandwich. The white girl with the ponytail was kind the whole time and offered to remake it as a different black girl told me I “just put the other piece of bread on top to make it a sandwich”. With scrambled eggs? And then I get home and realize the raspberry pastry I asked for is a cheese pastry. Honestly frustrating spending $47 on breakfast and getting this??? Used to love this place but this is the 2nd time in a row I’ve gotten sloppy food.

We went to the special steak night they have off season on the weekends and it was delish! Our server Seymour was fantastic. We both agreed it was relatively inexpensive for the size and quality of steaks we got, as where we are from it’s normally 10x the price. 10/10 will be back when we are in the area again.

We love this place! Last trip, Alicia took exceptional care of us.
This trip, Seymore treated us better than family and when one of the managers, Amanda, come around to check on us, she went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was spectacular.
I cannot praise the head cook Sheldon enough for what we consider THE BEST steak we have ever had.
We are now dedicated customers and will make it a point to come here each and every visit to the island!

This is a wonderful place to eat with, good food, top-notch staff and cute atmosphere (but everything is for sale - it's a little store with specialty items). I think it is a little over-rated or over-priced. It is geared toward the resort tourists. Tourists/seasonal folks (and locals recommending a place on that side of town) rave about it, but I think that might be because options are so limited around the Omni property. Head into historical downtown Fernandina and there are lovely places around there, too. The recommendations for Marche Burette aren't wrong...the food is tasty, well presented, the staff are polite, the store and atmosphere are cute. But it feels a little hyped for the well-traveled. Certainly, still an enjoyable time.
