Went there for Christmas dinner. The turkey dinner was average at best. Quantity was good. Quality and taste were equivalent to a mediocre chain restaurant. The Surfcaster dining room is a small older, beachfront location. Note to self....never go back! There are far too many places to eat Christmas dinner on Amelia Island!
There was not enough staff at restaurant they tried there best there just wasn't enough help. The chopped salad was soaked with dressing and lots of salt. I got the grilled grouper it was good but very salty.
We ordered from here frequently when at the pool daily and the wait staff was kind and the food wasn't bad, one waitress even brought us a complimentary guacamole since the seagulls literally ripped our whole basket of chips and guac apart when we stepped away for about 2 seconds to grab my other child to sit and eat the food we ordered. We appreciated that very much. However, on our last night we dined here and my children were served raw chicken tenders with the batter...
