We sat at the bar for the first time in quite a while and were dazzled by the service provided by Marco, the bartender. What an ambassador he is for Pogo's! We started with the arugula salad (pears, goat cheese, hazelnut) and the wagu carpaccio - both were fresh, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Both pasta dishes (mushroom stroganoff & pappardelle with duck) were exquisite!
The wine list has something for everyone, particularly the reds.
We couldn't have been happier and will visit as often as we can. Thank you to Wade for keeping things running smoothly!

We tried most of the well-known spots around the island, and this was by far the best. Service was great, and the ambience was cozy. We came with a big group at the end of the day, and they took care of us dutifully. I came here specifically because I wanted the stroganoff, and it did not disappoint! It was creamy and perfectly mushroom-y with the subtle taste of onion. The Bolognese was rich, flavorful, and came in a hefty portion. The she-crab soup was the best crab soup I had! It was simple yet so flavorful. The scallops were okay, but they were a little too seared so it tasted mostly burned. Still, I loved the rest of the food and service so much that I had to give 5 stars. I usually hate pecan pie, but their pecan tart was moreish. It tasted almost chocolate-y. We also got a tasty complimentary peanut hummus that had a delicious hint of ginger. Also, they were actually cheaper than the other places we went to, but still moderately priced. All in all, this is the restaurant that stood out to me in Amelia, and I'll be thinking about their food.

I went to the market the truth the singer makes you have a good time but the food seemed quite expensive for the preparation time and what I had is high the price and they have no organization I didn't enjoy anything I wouldn't go again pity it looked like a good place full of pesto the pizza I could barely taste the flavors in the same way too much sauce I don't recommend maybe the experience inside the restaurant is different, you can see that they don't have good communication the manager with his staff or his staff doesn't know

I don’t know how this place has a good rating, it was AWFUL. We came here under a reservation and it was not busy at all. The waitress was unhelpful and dismissive of us. The food took 2 hours to come out and we had no updates or anything, most restaurants would be very apologetic for this wait and make it up to us, and the food had the smallest portion ever for the price. We then asked for some ice cream for desert and they came back out with I kid you not a TABLESPOON of ice cream in a bowl for 3$. It was insane, I thought they were kidding, we then asked if this was the portion size and they said yes, then our waitress went to the host and started pointing and laughing at us and rolling their eyes. Awful service I will never go here again.

Scallops burned on grill that left foul tasting residue from previously burned food on our scallops. Chicken leg very dry and breast inedible. Veal breaded and deep fried and I was able to scrape off breading from part of the meat and eat that part of the tasteless veal. Never received the beats I ordered.

I live in the south side of Amelia Island and I love the fact that good restaurants like Pogo`s Kitchen are near my home.
But I have a few things that could have been better.
1. The She Crab soup is one of the best I have ever had but it was a bit luke warm temperature wise.
2. The bolognese pasta was too al dente for my taste and the ragu did not seem to have much meat and tasted different but not in a good way.
3. Lastly the menu has many good items including chicken, risotto di mare, veal cutlets, scallops, sea bass even a gourmet burger. But unless I am mistaken, there is no steak on the menu.
Sometimes I love a good filet mignon at a fine dining establishment like Pogos. I wish it would be added as a regular menu item.
Anyway I love the atmosphere, the service and most of the menu items including the complimentary peanut hummus.

Enjoyed a phenomenal dinner here this evening. Service was exceptional, ambiance was beautifully catered. Everything exceeded expectations. We dined on the hummus, charcuterie board, mushroom stroganoff and seafood risotto. Thank you to Nicholas, the staff and chef everything was just perfect! I will absolutely be back.

We would give it a 10 if we could. The food was amazing and the service was terrific. The gnocchi was incredible. Best we have ever had. The grilled asparagus was perfect with a beautiful light cream sauce. We also had the bolognaise which was also top of the list. All in all fantastic experience.
