We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Salt, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We had the New Year’s fixed-menu dining experience, and all five courses were thoughtful, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.

Highlights included yellowfin tuna tartare, delicate pasta stuffed with mushrooms, perfectly prepared lobster, an indulgent Wagyu course, and yummy dessert. The entire experience was refined, and memorable. The pacing of the meal was spot-on, allowing us to truly enjoy each course without feeling rushed.

The service was polished, warm, and attentive, making the evening feel special without being overbearing. Combined with the elegant atmosphere, it was the perfect way to mark such a meaningful milestone.

An outstanding fine-dining experience and a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend. 🥂

The food and service was amazing from start to finish. We were sat at a beautiful table liokingvout at the Christmas tree in the dunes. We enjoyed scallops and a green salad to start and halibut and filet mignon for entrees. Finished with the chocolate souffle with burnt honey ice cream. Wine recommendations were on point. I highly recommend! Olga was our server and she was excellent.

You cannot go wrong with Salt! No matter what you order, the food is absolutely the best. This is seriously some of the best food I've ever had, and I've been to some of the best restaurants in the US. The service matches the food; incredibly genuine and the servers anticipate every need. It's expensive, for sure, but you should expect to pay a price for an experience this superlative. I would recommend Salt to anyone seeking a top-notch culinary experience, and I can't wait to return!

The restaurant is very pretty. The food options are very limited. Waited long periods of time between courses. Tuna app was extremely mediocre. Filet was small but tasty. Filled up on bread rolls & the special ‘salt' - baklava for desert was an interesting preparation & tasted good. My husband had the lamb chops- tasty but small portion not on the bone. He had the scallop (2) app. We ordered 1 martini and 1 bottle of petite Sarah wine. Bill $400. Would be nice to have tuna steak on the menu or lobster. Waitress was knowledgeable.

Our experience was absolutely lovely. We celebrated my sister's birthday and the service team made us feel very special. Every plate was delectable. Our server was personable and professional... the icing on the cake so to speak.

Salt at The Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island is a fabulous restaurant. The ambience is beautiful and classy. Our server Anthony was so knowledgeable about the menu. He was just outstanding. Some of our party had halibut. They said it was some of the best fish they had ever eaten. Several of us had the lamb. It was so tender and delicious and was cooked perfectly. It was a wonderful first class dining experience.

Unbelievable experience, exceeded expectations! Having recently read the book Unreasonable Hospitality, the number of things discussed in that book present at Salt was incredible. From the hostess being empowered to change our table without asking her supervisor, to the tables side meal presentation or the parting gift of amazing salt, this restaurant is a definite must go to. Highly recommend.

I was celebrating my birthday with my husband. The decor of the hotel is very nice as was the restaurant. We had a table with a great view of the ocean. We were greeted promptly with menus. We decided on the Chef's Tasting Menu with the wine pairing. I was surprised that three of the five courses were seafood/fish. The courses were tuna, scallops, halibut, wagyu, apple dessert. The only course that we did not like was the halibut. My husband and myself found it bland. A vegetable course would have been welcome in lieu of more fish. Although I have had limited experience with tasting menus, I had higher expectations. Many of the courses offered were no different that what was offered on the main menu. It has been my experience that tasting menus are a unique experience and reflected in the cost. Since that was not case here, it was not worth the price. The service was amazing and we loved all the wines. However, I cannot recommend the tasting menu for the reasons stated above. I would consider a return visit and just order off the main menu.
