Ron was an excellent server. I asked a lot of menu questions, and he was very patient with me at noon on a Friday. Thank you, Ron. I had a (bakers) dozen raw oysters, and they were quite good. Mediumish size. My lunch guests had the grouper and the shrimp tacos. They both looked super yummy.
The view was spectacular!!
I definitely will be back!

Always fresh! Staff is super friendly, and food came reasonably fast. The view is amazing!
Parking: This restaurant is super popular, so sometimes people have to park along the roadway next to it. The parking lot itself is not very big.
Kid-friendliness: They have a playground for the kiddos!!!!!

I'll start with the atmosphere because it was the best part.
Beautiful water views of the Amelia River. No matter where you sit in the restaurant, indoors or out, the view is fantastic!
Inside the building itself is light-filled open and airy.
The high ceilings seem to mitigate the noise. The restaurant was 3/4 of the way full when we were there, yet I was still able to carry on a delightful conversation with my husband without shouting and without either of us repeating ourselves incessantly.
We both had fried shrimp. They were fresh, big, fluffy, golden, crispy and absolutely perfect.
Sides were hit and miss, but the portions were large.
My husband had sweet potato fries. They had good flavor; but, they were not the least bit crispy like a fry should be. Instead, they were limp and soggy.
He also had the mac and cheese. It didn't even have good flavor. It was simply sticky, overly gooey and gross. He ate 1 bite. I did the same.
I had a baked potato. It was fresh and hot.
But I asked for butter and got vegetable spread. I asked again and got a liquid mess of something that looked like melted butter, so I used it.
However, as the portion I didn't use sat and the table, I expected it to cool and become somewhat solid again. It never did. So, I don't know what in the world I ate on my potato.
I also had green beans which I thought had excellent flavor, albeit a tad overcooked.
We also both had dessert.
Key lime pie for my husband. He enjoyed it.
I enjoyed my bite except for the lime coulis drizzled generously on top. It added nothing and took away from the flavor of the pie.
It also had raspberry coulis, which I thought was pleasant and a nice contrast.
I had the brownie sundae. The ice cream and whipped cream were both delicious but the brownie was very dense and heavy.
My husband said the same about the portion he shared with me.
The service was excellent - with servers helping each other out to insure the freshest food and most expeditious service possible.
The only glitch in that system came when I ordered unsweetened tea and was served sweet tea by another server.
Our server was good-natured, polite and extremely attentive without being intrusive.
That combination is always appreciated.
All in all, our second meal at Shuckers placed them firmly on the "Re-visit" list for our vacation to Fernandina Beach.
If you go:
°Have shrimp. Blackened, fried or grilled...you won't find fresher shrimp anywhere.
°Avoid the Mac and Cheese.
°Try the Sweet potato fries but ask for them crispy.
°Skip the lime coulis on the Key lime pie or ask for it on the side.
°Don't expect butter or gooey brownies.
Parking: Nice selection of handicapped parking spaces.
Kid-friendliness: They did have a kids menu and a playground. However, the playground is adjacent to a body of water.
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking. Wide open restaurant space. The women's restroom had a handicapped stall. However, the size of the room may make maneuvering difficult. I'm not sure about this as I do not use a wheelchair. I was just trying to imagine the experience of someone who did.

Been going here for years and enjoying the views and great grilled oysters. We dined here last night and got a dozen of the blue cheese oysters and a blooming onion and 2 beers. Our bill was over $60.The prices have really gone up since the first time we started coming here.I could understand if we had had a full dinner and maybe steak but Really??I guess you are off our list now and will find another place to dine.Oh another thing read the bottom of your reciet, they add another 3% if you use a credit cards That's something they don't tell you.?

Me and my family decided to have dinner. Normally our go to spot. Our waiter ( older gentlemen, ) who didn't introduce himself. Took our drink order. We always get our kids juice. He stated they didn't have any. Okay no big deal. Er got lemonade and water. The drinks had a sewer type of oder and after taste to it. We brought it to his attention, he walked away and brought us 2 cokes and 2 orange juices, (after he stated they didn't have any juice) never asked what would we like in replacement. State the drinks on our table. But didn't take the old drinks. The service we received was BY FAR the worst we have had there. Such an disappointment

We went to shuckers for my son’s 9th birthday. He wanted it. We were sat after waiting for a hostess for a few minutes. On a Monday evening with less than 10 tables in the whole place. Along with three workers just standing by the front door, chatting it up. The hostess walks up, stops, and talks to them then proceeds to seat us. Ok. We were sat, looked over the menus, even had our drink orders ready. A waiter walks by, and says you just got sat, and walks off. Ok not your table. We see a waiter whom we always used in the past. He said he was t our waiter but would get him. That was after we had been sitting for at least 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging we have been sitting that long. Either way. The waiter came back, and said well apparently I am your waiter, and they didn’t tell me. Bad manager. So he takes our order. Then he had to leave and swapped waiters. This one introduced himself. Then barely showed up, we ran out of sweet tea. And when he did show up, every 10 minutes. He would ask how the food was, while we had a mouthful of food. The food was bland, the Mac n cheese, seems like it came out of a can. The fish was flavorless, I don’t know what happened but this place has gone down hill. For the amount of money they charge. This was like eating at Captain Ds quality. Poor poor poor. We won’t be back.

Yum! Oysters, shrimp, crab cakes galore! Go here for a taste of delicious seafood at Fernandina Beach! Service was top notch and the ambiance is casual, family-friendly and lively!
We came for dinner and the place was pretty busy with patrons sitting both inside and outside, enjoying the live music on the back patio. The view was really cute outside and there was even an area for kids to play.
The seafood we had was fresh and delicious! From the steamed oysters and blackened local shrimp, to the crab cake sandwich and pasta. The sides were on point too. I recommend the fried okra and their colossal fries! They give large servings and everything is seasoned perfectly.
Our server was friendly and accommodating. Even the owner stopped by our table, walking around making sure everyone was enjoying their meals and experience. Love to see that!
I’m coming back soon to try more from their menu!
