The Surf Restaurant & Bar

Ate there tonight. Food took over an hour to come out and then part of it was missing and the rest was cold. Waitress did great and apologized for the kitchens mistakes. She gave us a huge discount and told me our meals were being remade to go. Then the meals were never made to go. Sucks because we are here all week and typically eat here every night of our vacation.

Nothing to say but awesome! Great staff and cold drinks! The outside seating is beautiful.

Jason G was my bartender and was the ultimate man. His service was excellent and is the main reason I will 1. Be coming back and 2. Be referring friends, family, and others to go to the surf restaurant. Food was great, and Jason elevated the experience even more! Thanks a lot surf team and Jason!

Jason G was amazing. Fast and Friendly service. He checked on us and provided drink refills and whatever we needed. The food came quickly and he was very attentive during our meal while managing multiple customers!

Jason was our server at the bar. He was so attentive!!! The food was amazing as well! Coconut shrimp, veggies and onion rings! Never disappoints!!! Been coming here for 35ish years.

My wife and her son and I came only to eat here. Ava was our server and she did a great job. The food was good and we enjoyed the experience.

We were fortunate to speak with Ellie, the manager on duty, and felt she had a good crew with her. All the staff seemed friendly, even the bartender who thanked us for coming.

We had the good fortune to be there when the air conditioner was getting service and we could enjoy eating with cooler temperatures as the temperature outside was into the mid-90s.

I want to send appreciated kudos to the owners for having ketchup available with NO high fructose corn syrup. Thank you so much!

The whole meal for the three of us average came to $30 each. There seemed to be ample parking spots directly in front of the restaurant. I hope more restaurants follow your lead. Until next time!

came here with my family for a very long time. came tonight and got sat at table for 4 as a party of 5, which i can understand. didn’t get asked about drinks until abt 20min in, it’s okay she was a bit busy but seemed very long.. ordered food and waited over an hour. shrimp was definitely frozen, not de-veined and chewy. my sister’s crab was stringy and smelled like freezer. calamari was not fried right and mushy. not worth the wait in the heat and gnats. doesn’t seem like the servers fault but this place used to actually be good.

food was horrible and service was worse. sat there for 15 minutes before our waitress even showed up to ask about drinks. all the seafood tasted like chicken.

The service was great and friendly but the food was absolutely horrible. The shrimp tasted like it went straight from the freezer into the microwave and got overcooked. The Fries seemed like they were sitting around for an hour or two before they were served to us. Really disappointing meal

I went to the restaurant. I can’t speak to the hotel services. Food and service were good. My three year old LOVED to games area in the restaurant. I would come back if I were in the area.

The Surf restaurant was an excellent choice for our lunch stop. Just a short drive up from our rental at Amelia Island Surf and Racquet Club. Fish tacos and tuna poke bowl were delicious.

The office is dumpy. Was really worried that the rooms were awful due to the office and layout of motel. Rooms were great! Bed too soft for me, due to back issues.., but very nice and comfortable for my husband. All in all I would recommend.
