When we first sat down everything was fine, but the server forgot my boyfriends drink even after refilling mine 2 times. It took us about 20 minutes to just order our food, I ordered the steak and eggs with homefries, the steak was all fat basically, I ordered my eggs soft scrambled, they came out hard scrambled, and my homefries were undercooked. My boyfriends silverware was so disgusting as well. I told our server that I wasn't very happy with the experience I had, she gave us our check and tried to make it seem like she was being generous and giving us 50% off. They advertised that they were doing 50% off in general, that's the whole reason why we came.. I don't appreciate her doing that and trying to play it off as her being courteous and helpful.

We went here at the motel's recommendation. We were extremely happy we did.
We were greeted by Rosie (also our server) who had a wonderful personality-- the entire staff was pleasant. Our seat overlooked the ocean.
I am picky about coffee and their's was quite tasty. My son had the french toast using cinnamon raisin bread which he said was very good. However, my shrimp and grits were out of this world, perhaps eclipsing my previous best from Sullivan's Island, SC. The shrimp was fresh caught, almost perfectly cooked, and tasty. The mix of spices and flavoring tidbits were tasty, by only complaint might be the bacon was one step crispier than i like (i had to say something negative). The portion was so large i had to take a to-go box.
Addition: We went a second day and it was every bit as good as before, but this time it was warm enough to sit on the patio. I've attached four pictures

Right on the beach with live music. We loved it. I had GF Ahi tacos and she had a shrimp po'boy. Both excellent.

Absolutely loved Tortuga Jack’s Waterfront Dining on Amelia Island! Enjoyed a glass of Prosecco and crab eggs Benedict while soaking in fantastic water views and a laid-back, fun vibe. The food was delicious, food arrived fairly quickly, and the service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, beautiful scenery, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Not cheap but extra big portions. The seafood omelette was a delicious entree for brunch. Everyone seemed happy with their meals (party of 13). Place was cute. I'd been to Sliders years ago but never had been upstairs but it was a good choice.

Great location with clear view of the ocean. The food is great, and I have yet to receive bad service in multiple visits over the last couple of years

Anti-Christian establishment! Stay away if you are a Christian. The upper part for brunch is absolutely God like! The downstairs people will treat you like dirt!! Roy in particular. They have regulars that sit at the bar and will yell at you with your wife and children and make you feel uncomfortable so you leave! As soon as I complained to Roy about regulars a costing my wife and child. I was asked to leave with my family as we were in the middle of our meal. The Management came out after we complained and basically told us we were the problem. We’ve never been in this town! We’re just visiting. Beware of this town! If you’re not a local, they will not treat you the same. Roy and the management were horrible. They only look after the regulars and do not care about anybody visiting! We were here with family and enjoying our time. We will never come to this establishment again. it’s not safe for Christians!

Delicious breakfast food with a full bar, view of sunrise and surf, fresh breeze, sighting pelicans and dolphins on many days of the year. My favorite spot to sit is right on the rail. Jack’s eggs Benedict with buttery grits. The perfect start to the day.
