This is the best Asian cuisine I have ever had. It’s so good that it makes me wish I lived here. We visit every year and this is a MUST HAVE. I try something different every year but always get the Bao trio. Highly recommended.

We went to Wicked Bao to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was an unforgettable experience. At first we weren’t sure we were in the right place, driving through the port, but then this amazing little spot appeared with such a cool and vibrant energy. The owner greeted us with the biggest smile and made us feel like family, explaining the menu with genuine passion and recommending dishes with care.
The food was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavors that take you somewhere else, and the entire staff was warm and attentive. Excellent drinks, great vibe, and a place that clearly has many loyal guests. I’d love to keep it a secret, but Wicked Bao truly deserves all the love and success in the world.

We were greeted by the owner and she told us everything on the menu board and recommendations especially it was our first time here! We ordered sautéed veggies for our greens, crispy pork chop rice the owner recommended which was delicious! Added the Bao trio which I wanted to try and delicious and ordered the Sake sangria!!! We’re new to the island and couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. Natalie, the owner, is amazing—she took the time to walk us through the menu and all the gluten-free options. The food was excellent, and the sake cocktails were outstanding. You can tell everything is made with care. Absolutely worth a trip!

This place is everything. I wanted to try all items on the menu! I got the fried chicken bao and my husband got the trio. Both of our entrees were EXCEPTIONAL!! For starters, we shared the potstickers and the rice tots. These were so very good.
Next time we’re in Amelia Island, this will be the first place we come. Thank you for the great service and welcoming environment!

Delicious, fresh food with happy and friendly service. Had the smashed cucumber salad, pork pot stickers and the Bao trio. My wife had the adobo pork Bao and would have ordered another if she weren't so fulfilled. Friday night 6:30 pm and a line out the door for the waiting list; we (party of 2) were asked to sit at the bar if we didn't want to wait, and it was terrific. Hidden gem and clearly a local favorite, we will be back.
October 2025 update: been back a few times, always consistently fantastic! Love this place! Thank you Miss Natalie

Loved this place! Owner meets you at the door. I think that is a big thing! The food was good and albeit some dishes were good but nothing to write home about, the vast majority of it was packed with flavor. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the area and we will go again!

When we arrived to eat, we were greeted by the owner and could tell the warmth and passion that the restaurant had! After we ordered at the counter, we got an exceptional of service while seated at a table based on the number of visits the entire staff seemingly provided. The food itself was also great!

There was a line to place our order but the owner came and went over the menu and made suggestions, she was very friendly. Food was delicious and got to us quickly especially considering how busy it was for a Saturday dinner.

To start off with the food, everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The service was impressive and quick.
The owner is very involved and was extremely patient with answering all our questions and recommended options that would fit out dietary restrictions.
I enjoyed my visit to Wicked Bao a lot.

The food here is fantastic. I had the miso soup, charred octopus, tuna poke, and creme brûlé. The sake sangria flavor of the day was lemon ginger. The sake sangria was very refreshing. The miso soup was full of flavor, with mushrooms and large pieces of tofu. The octopus was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of spice. Everything was just perfect. I will definitely eat here again.
