I ordered the black bean burrito wrap and was very underwhelmed. The texture was okay, but it was very bland and flavorless. There are so many amazing things you can do with a burrito so it's sad to see something like this that tastes like it's just black beans, white rice, and tomatoes. I don't think they even added salt let alone other spices. The greens are just spring mix and onions with a very small amount of a mild dressing. It feels like someone brought to life a stereotype of what they think vegan food tastes like. Two stars because it's not disgusting or inedible, just bland. I'm hoping to try something else on their menu at some point to give them a fair chance.

Black bean burger was very delicious and the blueberry cheesecake was the best I've ever tried! Very welcoming staff and the restaurant has a great view of the beach!

They have a “the tea spot” sign on the window. We went inside and asked about tea and was immediately asked by staff if we were from the area or not. I said we were not and was told they had no fresh tea and to go to a “7 eleven to get some tea.” I felt unwelcome as a visitor. The owner lied in her reply…. I was never offered other options. But it’s nice she’s trying to save face for her business.

Wonderful cafe tucked off the main road. We were looking for a vegan spot to have lunch and this place was just what we wanted. Chef Maria was so inviting and lovely to talk with while she prepared our lunch. The veggie hummus wrap was delicious and came with a black bean soup which Maria happily gave us a second helping of. We each got a strawberry and banana smoothie and added some spinach to it and it was so refreshing and tasty! We got the vegan strawberry cheesecake to go and enjoyed it later that day with some chocolate strawberry sauce that chef Maria prepared for us. It was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back!

Was with a 10 ur old with celiac. He eyes literally glistened when she saw the cinnamon roll. She literally said ,” I was diagnosed when I was five, so I haven’t hand a cinnamon roll for half of my life!” That night, she warmed up her roll and spread it with glaze and looked like she was in heaven. We didn’t realize it took 72 hrs to make these beauties so we missed out on placing an order before she left town—- but next time I head to NC, cinnamon rolls are going with me!

Delicious food, drinks, and a warm inviting atmosphere from Chef Maria. It feels like home cooking without the work, paired with wonderful conversation. Parking is a breeze, plenty of dedicated spaces, one block from the beach. Come check out this spot for whole food and clean eating while you're in town.

Chef Maria’s food and attention to customers is truly incredible and one of a kind. It’s good to see small town/small business come to life and offer healthy options that are both nourishing and delicious. Her food might take a little longer since it’s only her in the kitchen, so she advices to call in to have it ready when you come in. However, I truly enjoyed conversing with her while we waited for our order. She’s full of great stories and it is clear that she loves what she’s doing. Highly recommend!
