Wife and son split a large shrimp platter while I had fried catfish. Portion sizes were right on point for the price.
Service left quite a bit to be desired.

Went to this place with my grandparents. The hostess seemed kind but distantz I did have an excellent server. I didn’t catch her name, but she was very kind and caring and helped my grandmother out when her food was not right. I got the half rack of baby back ribs with blackened shrimp. It was phenomenal. My grandparents both got fried shrimp and also loved it. If you want a great time with an excellent atmosphere and amazing food, you should definitely check out Corky Bell’s!

Love Corky Bells 8n Palatka. This place has a nice view of the River and you can sometimes catch live music playing on the back deck. Our last waitress was great, food is consistently good, and plenty for the seafood platter for two. You can also opt for half cooked one way and the other half a different way, which will satisfy both people. We regularly visit here when craving seafood.

Corky Bells Seafood & Steaks is a hidden gem for seafood lovers!

We had an excellent meal with a variety of delicious dishes. The flounder and chips were crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked—classic comfort food done right. The coleslaw made a great, refreshing side.

The grilled shrimp and pineapple skewers were full of flavor and grilled to perfection—light, savory, and just the right touch of sweetness from the pineapple. The cheese grits on the side were rich, creamy, and seriously satisfying—southern comfort at its best.

The portions were generous, the flavors were spot-on, and the overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Lots of great food in a welcoming atmosphere—definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

My sister and I stopped in for lunch driving back to Jax from Green Cove Springs.First time. I love oyster stew and noticed it was on menu. It was a mistake. Broth watery and flavorless and worst of all the oyster tasted terrible. Spit it out and sent back to kitchen with request chef check freshness and quality of oysters. Blackened flounder was good and enjoyed okra and tomatoes . My sister said the black eyed peas she had with her flounder was very good. Roach on floor under our table . Brittany , our waitress said “they just sprayed this morning’. Not the experience I was hoping for .

Food is consistently good southern fare. The atmosphere is rather old and dingy and could use a face lift imo but why fix it if it ain’t broken.

Very good food but NOT alcoholic drinks. Other than that, very good food and customer service.

The waitress(es) were friendly, even if they were slow to check on us. The food took a long time to come out, and when it did, my fried shrimp were cool *like they had sat for awhile before coming out to me. When the waitress did finally stop to check on us, she was quick to make it right (the reason for 4 stars instead of 3). The clam chowder bowls my friends ordered were great, and when the shrimp were brought back out, they were yummy.

Corky Bell’s has officially become my top choice for steak and lobster tail in the area. After trying several other restaurants locally, I was often left disappointed—especially with the way lobster was prepared or the small portion sizes. However, Corky Bell’s exceeded my expectations. The lobster was succulent, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor.

The steak was equally impressive—one of the best I’ve had in a long time. It had that rich, smoky taste you'd expect from a charcoal grill. I initially asked for steak sauce, but after the first bite, I realized it would only detract from the incredible flavor. It simply didn’t need it.

My family ordered the shrimp Alfredo and one of the seafood platters. They thoroughly enjoyed their meals, with the only exception being the broiled oysters, which were a bit rubbery. That said, we suspect it may have been due to our request to have them cooked that way—they likely would’ve been better fried.

Overall, an outstanding dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.
