Domo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

I'm usually excited to share my wife's and myself experience at a restaurant. However, in this case I am quite sceptical. Here we have a very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. It goes without mention that the staff and chefs are in desperate need for additional training. Our meals were below average, not at the correct temperature, and completely disappointing. Additional, the menu is very limited. Table service is also in need of additional training.

Waitress doesn't listen at all. Constantly had to repeat ourselves. I ordered no rice, double vegetables. I did not get double veg but didnt eat what I git because it was so saturated in soy sauce. Yes I do eat soy but there was so much! Husband didnt eat his rice. The garlic butter its made with had so much garlic it was burning our mouths like we were eating raw garlic. Definitely would not go back. We've given them three chances. All three times have been awful. And the portions are very small compared to other restaurants and this one charges more.

I went for my birthday, and the chefs and host were really nice. Unfortunately, the waitress was horrible — absolutely terrible service. She treated us poorly and rushed us with an attitude the entire night. I will not be returning.

Very run down.

I went with my family celebrate My Baby ‘s sixth birthday. The food was delicious. Servers was nice and the cook was very nice as well. I don’t have any complaints. I went on a Sunday afternoon. I was surprised that it wasn’t busy at all. Everything was delicious. I will definitely go again as soon as I get a chance.

Excellent food and excellent service! We were seated right away and had a wonderful cook!

some of the waiters are a little iffy however, when we get jerry we never have a bad time. he’s funny and he’s by far the best chef there. i will only ask for jerry from now on!

I won't visit here again. My husband liked his steak hibachi, so 3 stars. I did not like the sushi. It wasn't fresh. Service was curt, not friendly at all.

This place is always good, noticed they are serving a lot smaller portions and raised their prices. I usually have left overs to take to work for lunch but the last 2 times we went I didn't. The cooks are always entertaining tho.

My family has been here many times and it has always been a good experience. We love chef Bryan, I wish I remember the name of our server tonight, she was on top of it. Roasted and toasted. Great time, laughed so hard.

There are much better options for sushi in Middleburg and Green Cove Springs. My husband and I came here for our first date since becoming new parents four weeks ago. Such a let down. Again, you get more sushi and much better quality for your buck at other establishments outside of Fleming Island.
