Air Margaritaville Restaurant

I travel a lot. Been to many an airport restaurant. Save yourself a lot of frustration and avoid this one. Service was extra slow. Staff doesn't really care and why would they? They get an automatic 18% tip regardless. Included in your over priced food.

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place. The service was extremely disappointing—it took 50 minutes (promised 30 mins)
for our food to arrive, despite the restaurant not being busy. To make matters worse, our order was incorrect, and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. Adding insult to injury, an automatic gratuity was charged for this poor service. While the food was decent, it felt overpriced given the overall experience. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

Our $22+ burgers tasted like ones from a cafeteria…”less than mediocre” said my wife. Once the food was set on our table, we did not see our server again…at all…for over 45 minutes. We just sat. There was no “how was your food?” There was no refill of our drinks. There was no clean up of plates when we were done. There was not even an explanation of how to pay. They got our order wrong, overcharged us, and on top of it all, there was a required 18% service fee.

We ordered a burger and fries with a Caesar salad to share. Everything was great. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to eat here again when visiting FLL.

Adding on an unannounced 18% gratuity for what was lackluster service at best is incredibly presumptuous. The server had to be called away from a chat with his colleague by another employee just to close out my bill, and it still took him a while to cut the chit-chat and wander back to the till. The food was okay - not great though - but this practice is pure bullshit, even with the “feel free to increase or decrease the tip” disclaimer.

Jimmy Buffett must be rolling in his grave.

I was here going back to my house at 7:45 and I got pancakes, they were really good but way too big. The service was awesome

Automatic 18% "service charge" added to ticket and cannot be removed whether a party of 1 or 20! When asked, waitress said "oh, that goes to me, but you can add an additional tip if you want." Way overpriced food because it's in an airport, but then to add an automatic 18% gratuity that is not posted anywhere in the building. Never mentioned until you get your check. I'm pretty sure that this should have to be posted by law.

There’s no better way to start a travel day. Gail our server was so polite, and absolutely fast. She had so many tables and was upbeat exceptional at taking care of everyone.

I recently dined at Air Margaritaville and had an excellent experience! From the moment I walked in, the island-themed decor and relaxing atmosphere made me feel like I was on a mini-vacation. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was enjoyable.

The menu offered a great variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fish tacos—they were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The signature margaritas were also a highlight, providing the perfect balance of tangy and sweet.

What stood out the most was the exceptional service. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The food arrived promptly, and the entire dining experience was smooth and pleasant.

Overall, Air Margaritaville exceeded my expectations. It's a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy good food and drinks before a flight. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through the airport!

Robert was great!

Felt ripped off with the not so obvious 18% automatic tip, then it pops up asking if you want to add 22% /20% /18%. It’s intentionally deceptive. The waiter handed me a code and said to pay with my phone. Had to enter all info on the card. It may be convenient for some but not me. Food and service were good.
