Bangkok Bistro is the culinary gem of the area and loved by the locals . Conveniently located off Federal Highway this restaurant has it all. The diverse Menu of sushi / sashimi and hot appetizer / entrees creates the pleasant dilemma of “What to have….?” No matter what you settle for, you can be assured (Bob & Kate the owners) only offer the freshest ingredients so, you will never be disappointed.
From the Green Curry with Chicken or Mongolian Beef to the Muay Thai Roll or Lobster Roll everything bursts with the essence of traditional Thai flavors. Now add to that value for money as everything is reasonably priced and the portion sizes will not disappoint.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and love returning customers. Whether you are a party of 30 or simply want a table for one you will be made to feel at home.
Feel like Thai tonight…..head to Bangkok Bistro and enjoy!

This was my first time eating here. I visit FTL apparently once a year. Having lived here 14 years ago, I mostly stick to old favorites.
The wait for my appetizer— crispy calamari was around ½ hour. That was at 8 pm on a Wednesday night. After that, the service was prompt. The waiter must have been new and was surprised when I asked for a spoon to accompany the fork and chopsticks (they also serve sushi) the table was set with. I explained that in Thailand, people usually eat with a fork and spoon. He brought me a spoon right away. I attribute that to whomever trained him.
The calamari was overcooked and tough. I should have asked for a steak knife to cut the rings. There was way too much batter. Think British fish and chips. The sweet Thai pepper sauce was delicious.
The Basil Duck was spot on. It was described as containing ¼ duck, which it probably did. The sauce was delicately.
The pad Thai was also delicious. The portion was very generous. I took most of it home as I miscalculated how much batter would be on the calamari.

This was my first time ordering takeout from this restaurant. I was excited to try it because the reviews look really good. I lived in San Francisco for many years and love Thai food. Unfortunately both dishes we ordered were horrible. The green curry fried rice was dried out, the chicken was overcooked, and there was no curry taste whatsoever. All you could taste was pepper. We ordered pad ew you as well. They used way too much pepper and barely any Chinese broccoli whatsoever. They were not skimpy with the amount of chicken they included, which was good, but the dish had barely any flavor. We were so disappointed and threw both dishes away.

Highly recommended
Weeknight dining here was sublime.
Walked in, seated immediately and ordered hot sake to start which was a nice alternative to chilled sake.
Wonton soup was superb. A definite must. Octopus salad was fresh and flavorful. The eel &jalapeño sushi was so so so good. All the food was great, even the ice tea was good, which i dont typically drink.
Wait staff was courteous, prompt and very pleasant. Food came quickly and everything was delicious.
This is my new sushi spot!
Highly recommend!

Ordered delivery again from one of my favorite spots, and it was just as amazing as always. The food was packed with flavor, arrived fresh and warm, and you can tell they really care about quality even with takeout.
It’s the kind of place that never lets you down. Always a treat!

I’m such a very observant person and I would noticed everything. This must be a Thai Asian fusion restaurant, because I see Mexican people cooking in the kitchen? One of the most negative side of this place was the smelling bathroom as you approach it, and there was no toilet paper! Otherwise, the service and, the foods we ordered were all good.
