Harley was great amazing young lady who was our server . The food was the best Mex food I ever had ! Only one thing for the cost of the cocktails the glasses should be way bigger. 14$ USA $ is a lot money with Canadian exchange rates. 20$ Canadian you want a fish bowl for a drink . Not a lil coke glass way too small.
The rest of the food is home cooked no boxed canned anything. Fresh I’d eat there again.

Only giving a 3 star and that is solely because the FOOD was TERRIBLE, SALTY and JUST BURNT, overcooked! And the food came out unorganized- waited over 1-2 hours for our food -group of 12 and then it had to go back for correction of our original request. How does a salad take 1 hour?!? The kitchen needs to get better organized. Truly wont be returning to eat there. (We will go next door to TAP42) Several of us won't up with belly aches, completely sick with swollen gums/lips due to the overwhelming salt portions. However, the 3 star is solely for the good ambiance & music, nice decor, GREAT drinks, AWESOME server ( go HARLEY! )She was on point and quite attentive. We will only go for drinks and ambiance!
Fun restaurant, a bit over priced but the portions were generous and the food was good. Service was great.
Parking: Can be hard to find parking when the restaurant is busy but there is a free lot.

I had the frozen strawberry margaritas. It tasted weird, the queso fundido dip was good but my birria tacos took forever to come out and they were burnt

Bar Rita has been one of the best restaurants in the area, but today we had a bad experience, we ordered a fork and knife burrito ? the red & green sauce was were too salty, the whole burrito itself, it taste like they put the whole container of salt in there.
Honestly I was hungry but was impossible to put a whole spoon of salt in my mouth. My husband eat his burrito because he was hungry, I did not!
I don’t know if I want to come back after this
Service was okay, we eat on the bar.
Bar Rita in Fort Lauderdale offers a great dining experience with a vibrant atmosphere perfect for a casual night out. I ordered the loaded nachos with Impossible meat, and while they initially seemed a bit dry on top, once I dug in, I discovered a delicious medley of cheese, sour cream, guacamole, fresh vegetables, and Impossible beef seasoned perfectly with Mexican spices. The flavors really came together, making each bite satisfying and enjoyable.
Storm opted for the three chicken tacos, which were part of the Taco Tuesday special, and he thoroughly enjoyed them. The tacos were well-prepared, and the portion size was just right. He also had a strawberry-infused margarita, which added a refreshing and fruity twist to the meal. I kept it simple with an unsweetened iced tea, which was fresh and crisp.
The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment to relax and enjoy the food. The servers were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed, although a little more attention throughout the meal would have been appreciated. Overall, Bar Rita delivered a good dining experience with tasty food, a pleasant atmosphere, and solid service. It’s a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking for a fun, casual place to enjoy a meal.

Okay, I came on a rained out Sunday brunch that was very chill but then the place got packed. First off the food was truly amazing. Revolutionary french toast. We were onto her rooftop that was packed to capacity and both Jess and the floor manage Parrish who was really amazing and truly took care of us. Party of 5 and we had and an amazing time with DJ @keiithb on IG. Food was great. The drinks flowed and we had the best birthday for my friend. Thank you to the whole staff. Who also saved my grandfather's life in another occasion here. I love the whole staff here and really appreciate it. They are truly amazing people and thank you to Jess and Parrish again!!! ❣️

I was disappointed that I didn’t get sat with Raven! She is THE BEST. Everytime I come to bar Rita, she makes myself and my family feel welcomed. She’s amazing and knows how to make sure we are all set. Love her!!!
